After being the first girl group to ever win a Disk Daesang, the girls continue to werkkk their ass of in Japan, and finally announces a Korean comeback that would be on the fourth quarter of 2011

Starting with these teasers, companies begin to reschedule their comeback as no one would want to be drowned in SNSD's spotlight and at this time many other big girl groups are coming back, just for SNSD to postpone their own comeback

SNSD managed to debut at #1 on Gaon Weekly Chart with 4 days of tracking(2011.11.16-2011.10.22) 
They also sold 227,994 copies of album in October, making them the first place for Gaon Monthly Chart
Aside from that, The Boys era had successfully made them accomplishing new records and extending their achievements
- The first girl group to won Daesang three times in a row in Golden Disc Awards ( 2009 Gee SOTY, 2010 Oh! AOTY, 2011 The Boys SOTY)
- The first and only girl group to win Artist Of The Year in MAMA
They are also awarded the Prime Minister award, making them the first idol group to be awarded
At the end of the year, they also gained the #1 spot in Gaon 2010 Album Chart with 385,348 copies sold, making The Boys the best-selling female album in a single year(January 2011 - December 2011) until Feel Special EP by Twice surpasses this number in 2019 by selling 413,459 copies in 2019. Well-deserved Queens 
One thing I discovered is that with such number in a year(3 months to be exact) , they can still enter Yearly Top 10 until 2018, makes me think how big of an era The Boys must have been in 2011
