You need to be strategic so i think Enhypen with an album daesang. I really think they can crack down 1m album sales soon so we just need BTS going military, Exo not regrouping, NCT doing weird things outside korea with Sooman genius plans, Blackpink doing solo stuff or disbanding, Twice not getting too much popularity and any other monster groups that didn't debut.

Of course a SOTY is possible for any group but the luck factor is way too high to start predicting.

Artist of the Year almost always go to top groups so it will be imo harder than just outselling everybody with albums.

(And bp in some categories) so yeah, the moment bts don't drop an album for a year or go on break for military is when we can see 4th gen group get a dasaeng (I can't spell that shit to save my life)

It will be someone from a major company, since even if BTS goes away, there is a certain 2nd Generation singer to deal with.

Soty is up for grabs. Physicals I highly doubt anyone is getting it over BTS because of armys.

If BTS enlists, 4th gens would still have to face SVT, BP and NCT (for starters) for Album of the year. Not to mention, 4th gen at their current performance aren't even in the running for MMA Daesangs and SOTYs since their Digitals are meh (except some GGs). IU's gonna sweep MMA if she keeps releasing albums every year. But this is still based on their current performance, we can never predict the future. May the odds be ever in their favor

SOTY probably won't go to any 4th gen this year. If anything either award shows will change their rules and allow Rollin' (literally is way too big to not win anything if the award shows know any better).

But if they don't, then I think it's up for grabs for a GG vs BTS. This year has been the return of GGs charting!
