They have 2 extremely popular members (Karina and Winter) that literally everyone in Korea knows about and 2 international stan-attractors (NingNing and Giselle). Their concept is interesting and creative, their MVS stunning, their recent music-releases were awesome too.... What else do they need to be a real top-tier group? What do IVE, NewJeans and even possibly Le Sserafim have what Aespa doesn't have?
What is it that aespa needs in order to be a top group on IVE/NewJeans level?

It is SM. Sometimes they are hot, sometimes they are cold.
While behind New Jeans and Ive in Korea, they are now in front of Ive globally which is what matters more, in global charts for Drama vs Baddie and All Night, and total Instagram followers.
Karina will also have more Instagram followers than Wy soon, which means the mindless herd that jumps on the latest trend will flip over to her soon.
With the popularity advantage, and as long as SM doesn't mess things up, they should continue to out-grow Ive.

They need another mega-successful next level type of hit. aespa have other hits like savage, spicy and drama but they don't have another soty level hit. Ive have love dive, after like and I AM, and newjeans have hype boy, attention and ditto.
Funnily enough aespa are the only top 4th gen gg who still don't have a #1 on the circle chart, even lsrfm have a #1 with PN after 3 consecutive #2 peaking singles, aespa have 4 singles that peaked at #2
Additionally next level is still their only single to be certified platinum for streaming, lsrfm have 2 (fearless and antifragile), ive have 4 (eleven, love dive, after like and i am) and nwjns have 4 as well (hype boy, attention, ditto and omg)

I would say the two improvements that id like to see from Aespa are just Title Song choice and stable management.
Yall are forgetting that they bodied SMs implosion. Streams are fun, but album sales and concert tours buy houses.
They have the most potential to be number one in 4 years out of all of the GGs imo with their talent. Giselle is a much better singer than anybody in IVE other than the two girls i cant name. I can name Giselle though… shes even a better singer than Haerin and maybe Minji if we’re being honest, and she just has to practice more with dance, or they need to stop having such synced dances that dont agree with the performers abilities, idk.

In Korea? They are much bigger than I ever expected them to be. There was never any chance for them to reach NJ or IVE popularity level. Look at what kind of groups are popular in Korea, Aespa has nothing in common
Internationally they need to get rid of their concept and pretend as much as possible to not be from SM. If they play smart they will be the third biggest group easily, but will never big as big as LSRF because LSRF is from Hybe

Also if i remember correctly better things spend some weeks hanging around the 60-80 on melon but ive " all night " is already out
So i think aespa are actually in a very good direction and needs nothing more
