the only member who got caught "dating" was Seunghan who got his pre-debut photos with another girl leaked to the internet without his consent and those were taken from before he even became an idol.

the other dating related scandal (using the word loosely) was Sohee attending a bar for young single people to meet each other (this was prior to him debuting too)

and finally, anton had some photos on IG leaked that showed with him and Seventeen member Vernon's sister. they were just cute pictures and comments shared between the two. even k-netz didn't care about this one because they said they looked "cute" and many people believe they are just friends.

that's all, i'm not sure where OP got the idea that two of the members are publicly in full on relationships, but it was probably their vivid imagination

Too late bruh, we have all seen how gleeful you were at the prospect of Seunghan and Riize getting cancelled. You only changed tune after the thread got traction and most posters showed support to Seunghan. People like you are the problem.

I hope people stop making such a big deal out of stuff like that. In western countries barly anyone cares if you date (unless it comes out they date a criminal or a total idiot than I know people tend to freak out but other than that most people do not care that much most of the times) and I don't get why people in Asian countries make such a big fucking deal out of "oh no, they are humans, they have boyfriends and girlfriends, shame on them!" Just earlier this year a member in a Japanese group I listen to was on a freaking long hiatus cause he was caught dating (ok, in that case, the guy was even caught making out with a fangirl, but still) and everyone was so pissed when that came out but randomly everyone is now happy that he returned to the group (it's unclear if the guy is still dating that girl or if they broke up) and I am like, why do people make such a big issue out of just someone dating? It's not like that he did something dumb. I mean Seunghan didn't done anything stupid or so (I know of cases where celebs did shit when their realationships came out. I mean for example there is a guy in a Japanese group who has an ex. fiance. And the realationship he had with her only came out after she accused him of having beaten her up and before this happend nobody knew he had dated her for 2 years)

But seriously why are people, mainly in Korea (and other Asian countries) allways feeling so depressed about that their faves are just humans like they are? I bet most people who complain about idols dating are people who sit at home with their boyfriend or husband, maybe even having kids allready and scream "No they shouldn't date!" I don't understand that mindset. Like most people who cry over their faves but are dating someone themselfs at the same time are just weird to me. And if singles complain than it often sounds to me like that they are just jealous that they are still single and their faves arn't or in some smaller cases there tend to be even fans who are jealous that their fave chose someone that is not them.

These people who complain are just childish and need to grow the fuck up

Yes sir! Pave the way for the normalization of idols dating, whether they be male or female! Kpop isn’t local anymore and most international fans don’t care about this. I just wish these companies put an end to all the parasocial nonsense in Kpop.
