I was really hoping sheโd be in WM NGG or make a solo debut, but with the RBW buying out WM = WM not debuting anymore artist situation, Iโm glad sheโs leaving & hopefully going elsewhere to debut
If thereโs still room for Sakura/Chaewonโs group, I hope she joins it. Especially since she & Sakura are so close, not to mention SouMu/HYBE wanted to get as many IZ*One girls for the group as possible

The group was basically finalized end of last year and are already taking their profile pics. They're gonna debut within a month or two. At this point it's waaaaay too late

But yeah, it would feel a bit much.

But at least this time it'll be a permanent group so it could end up being her last. And she'd end up in a HYBE group that's bound to be successful so we might get the chance to see her and Sakura together again during HYBE collab events

I feel so bad for Chaeyeon. She has been on like 4 survival shows. This would be her 3rd agency, and she has yet to find a stable avenue for her career.
At least WM put her on SWF instead of letting her waster away in the dungeon, but now, she has to find some where else to start again (if the rumor is true). Even if Hybe doesn't want her, there is an agency out there that will. I think she could still sell 30k to 50k by herself with fandom power, and that's better than most girl groups.
Plenty of agencies could use someone like that.

There was a very active youtube/instagram person that was following their new group GGUMNAMU and all of a sudden they disappeared. They eventually got the story from an "insider???" that RBW blocked WM from producing any more groups. As of now all their old boy and girl trainees left a while ago and at about the same time. I'm not sure if she has left but it would make sense for her to want to leave and for WM/RBW to let her go.

Happens a lot in business to be honest. You buy the intellectual property "IP". Hold onto the company for a bit then let all the old employees except maybe a few key ones go and bring them over into your organization.
I'm still not convinced Chaeyeon has left though. On her Instagram account (the real one) she is still friends WM entertainment. Their trainee GG she was technically a member was actually all ready to debut. There were about as good in dancing as ITZY with 3 girls who could all be main dancers if you include Chaeyeon. Look for WM_TRAINEE on instagram and his page has all their old videos that they took down.

Hybe clearly went after the biggest stan attractors. As i understand it, Izone's five most popular members among Wizones were Wonyoung, Yujin, Minju, Chaewon and Sakura. Starshit had two of them obviously so Hybe went after the top 3 remaining.
But Chaeyeon makes so much sense on other levels though. Hybe being stupid af if they dont bring in Chaeyeon. It's not like she's costing them millions of dollars in salary costs. Even if her fanbase is small, say 20k albums per comeback, that's still more than many entire Kpop GG's. But the benefits you get are multiple. Not only is she a main dancer, she can also sing and rap. She was a co leader with Eunbi, and she got along with everyone in Izone.
With Chaeyeon, Sakura and Chaewon, you wouldnt even need to pay for other rando idols to be in the group. You already have two main dancers, two main vocals, two main visuals, a center, and a leader.

It seems this one is pretty accurate considering that most of this trainees especially the girl trainees have been around for 5 yrs already in WM then suddenly all of them was out of WM after the acquisition. Then WM even recruit some trainees in 2020 then they were also let go.
It is also interesting that WM is now starting to do trainee recruitment just this month.
I'm really hoping for the best for Chaeyeon. If she is still in WM the only option for her is a solo debut and if not I hope she find a better company.

One of the trainees who was a part of GGUMNAMU recently debuted with the group H1-KEY.
