AESPA’s impact.. producers are already using their song structure!
-
-
Not again 🤡
-
i guess i'm lost because i didn't see any song having the song structure of NL
-
It already existed
-
-
Yikes.
-
NGL my gut reaction when i first heard Lalisa was that Teddy finally did what he may have always wanted to do, stick two songs into one, using NL as inspiration and "proof of concept" so to speak.
Listening to Lalisa a little more, i dont think it's truly a blatant "copy". Lalisa's bridge and post bridge rap isnt quite as extreme as the beat drop interlude in NL.
Whatever the case, i loved the NL beat drop and i liked the Lalisa bridge/post bridge so it all worked out in the end.

I'm pretty sure their song stucture is not entirely new, the day it was released everyone talked about how it reminded them to I Got A Boy
in the sens that it's messy experiemtal but Next level and I got a boy song structure are very different
Next level for example got 2 bridge, one at the end of the song which is usually where the bridge is, and which one who's in the middle of the song which is really rare for a song to get a Bridge there
meanwhile for example IGAB only got 1 bridge
people just say that songs with messy structure are like IGAB without even really taking attention to the structure of the song
-
It was always a thing, like a sm thing. But I hope it will become a trend again that other companies will hop on now after Next Level's success, because I love bipolar songs.
-
-
Actually it started from this song by T-ara everyone copied the rap part where it turned into a different song. It didn't even start with SM unless there's another older song that I don't know about
I thought y'all would know this....noobs

Maybe it's Money kkkkkk
money doesn't have a messy structure

Does Rising Sun have that? I'm not sure

I was being sarcastic

I hope OP is making jokes otherwise she/he really has one brain cell.

I'm too
What part(s) in lalisa is like next level
-
-
What nonsense.
-
OP which part do you think was like Next level? Tell us so we can think about it
-
When we talk about someone's impact then I'm sure it is SNSD impact.
Girls' Generation 소녀시대 'I GOT A BOY' MV - YouTube
but come on'. Lalisa's structure is not even similar to this or Next Level.
Stupid thread.
-
-
same
because i'm literally streaming Next level every second of my life for the past 4 months and stan hard aespa
but never listening to lalisa i thought " oh it remind me aespa little bit "
or i'm deaf

I'm obviously deaf too
The only part i got confused with and i think is unnecessary was the one when she was on a swing, singing "you need some lalisa" because transition to the next part was weird. but if that's the part people are calling next level part? Then every sm song that has slow(er) bridge in upbeat songs has next level formula
-
Like, no hate to Aespa or NL. I like both. But this kind of mashup song structured has been around for a while. Especially in SM. Only baby kpoppers don't know that.
Besides, no shade, no tea. But it's kind of ironic to say people are copying NL when the song itself it's a sample from a FF movie soundtrack.
-
And all this while I was thinking NL was copying HYLT or something similar lol

It's as if Next Level is a remake of a song that was released before HYLT. It's also as if "disjoint" song structures with a bridge that sounds like it belonged to a different song is literally SM / YYJ's signature sound.

Guess I’m not a remotely SM stan to know this lol
-
-
Remember, just because SM is your whole universe, it doesn’t mean it is to others.
Never thought you’d be so offended because I felt NL being similar to HYLT lol
-
huh? if more IGAB was the OG of the mixing of different songs and pretty sure the inspiration for Next Level was from that
-

NGL but your are just overly annoying and dumb
yep yep that it
That and u also have never hear a bp song in your life
-
What a clown. There are literally different people in this same thread talking about the SM disjoint structure trademark in this same thread, I guess going by your logic SM is everyone's whole universe
