I'd love to see Warner's contract when it comes to Twice. You feel like they demanded a lot at a time JYPE were struggling and now that it's detrimental to the group they can't do anything about it as the are locked into it. All these releases make minimal sense otherwise as the drop in Japan is obvious for everyone to see so why do they still persist with it

Also Got 7, debuted on October 22nd, 2014 and their contract expired this year January 18th
This means, if Twice has the same contract lenght as Got7, that it expires on January 3rd
Always thought they were on 7 years contract but it seems it stands for "expires on their 7th year" = soon after their 6th anniversary

There was very little Kura Kura promotion...so little it might as well have been a bside to another album or smth...

They slap something together in a month and give em a week or two of minimal promo and it's on to Japan. Where it's an even more anemic proposition.

It's a half ass approach to it. One built entirely on quick cheap shots to get cash rubs.
TWICE should be an event.
I'd never wish a BLACKPINK schedule on them.
But at least it gives them some feeling importance. By giving each release time to breathe. And some extended effort that shows you believe in them beyond get money quick schemes.
