Real because why else would you explain their B-sides to chart and do well while other groups only see success with their title tracks. People genuinely like their music. It's not that hard to get. But of course this is a Kpop forum after all so there's not much rational thinking expected.

They have one comeback that didn't get a PAK or #1 on the charts and people act like they've been on a hiatus for 8 years and vanished off the earth. Every group has ups and downs commercially. NewJeans is no exception.

The fact that charting #2 and #3, selling million copies and having a sold out FAN MEETING at THE Tokyo Dome is considered a flop for NewJeans (at least by annoying delusional K-Pop stans) speaks volumes of how successful and relevant they are in the Kpop world.

Y'all can tell yourself whatever you want to discredit NewJeans' success but at the end of the day they are still one of the most successful K-Pop groups to ever exist and are a cultural phenomenon.

fake, hybe bought their success and now that mhj has gorren on bsh bad side we can see how hard they have fallen off.

I already expected them to be one of the top3 ggs along Ive and aespa even before they debuted because a former successful and influential SM employee + Hybe gg was fated to attract massive attention but the TTH playlist, the hybe stans push and specially all the brand deals they already had in an extremely short period of time (low-key similar to Illit?) was definitely inorganic.

It's ironic how if they weren't as pushed as they were people wouldn't have said they fell so hard, proof is that they're still considered one of the top3 ggs (to me will always be aespa ive and nj without specific order and no one can convince me otherwise) Nj is definitely popular and successful so there was really zero need to pretend they were more popular and successful than they actually were. All that greediness backfired hard and ended up looking like the opposite. It's much better to have a slow but at least steady path to success than not being able to sustain the hype you gathered. One of the reasons why humbleness is a very important trait to have.
