why wouldn't they turn on new jeans, most army (not ALL) have internalized misogyny. It's really hard for stans to stay sane once another group threatens their faves achievements. everything these days is based off of how much views you have, how many albums you sell, etc. It makes all these army obsessed with numbers, and now that New Jeans is the new blackpink, it's getting to them badly.

Army and blinks were never friends. First it used to be btsxgf (I forgot the name of the alliance but it was like wednesday friday or something) and after gf started flopping armys turned to bangtwice

Armys were just token stanning newjeans to use them against other gg fandoms but after they saw newjeans/mhj/ador is not kneeling to their daddy bang pd they got mad. A lot of armys are now token stanning illit instead.

The two fanbases are separate, with some overlap (like many groups.) At the moment, it's a rational response on the part of BTS fans who are even aware of the MHJ drama to have a bitter taste in their mouth given that BTS got dragged into it all for zero damn reason. I think most people wish the girls well but wish for this moment of drama to be removed from the BTS narrative.

They will gain the support from multi stans back once MHJ is fired. I think they are still supported, don't worry.

as far as I knew, ARMY was never on a good page with Bunnies. bcs didn't HYBE try to call/brand them the next BTS or using BTS so ARMYs never liked it
