There is also the issue about being asian and singing in another language, bts at their peak with their us label also putting the work for radio payola could barely get a fraction of what a normal radio payola western artists get without their label really lifting a finger, it was butter promo I think.

this is not true lol I remember watching vlogs made by K-blink on youtube when they went to their seoul concerts. Just because a group of chinese fans happen to go doesn't mean the majority were Chinese lol you can't be this dense thinking koreans didn't go to their concerts . also the concert sold out super fast. keep in mind that BP doesn't have concerts in China so logically some Chinese fans would like to go China is not that far from korea.

It is clear that Hybe has a deal with Spotify. I watched Ive do a sold out tour of the US and sell out concerts everywhere else around the world and yet somehow they can barely crack 1,000,000 daily streams on Spotify while Illin does 3,700,000...like cmon, folks... 
. Dont forget how low Idle streams are and they have toured around the world and dominate Korea. Same with Aespa.
Ador and Belift have clearly prioritized their marketing budgets for Spotify while Source seems to have been more Japan focused and maybe following standard Kpop promotions, at least until LSRFM hit big with Perfect Night which seems to have emboldened Source aka BangPD to spend some real $$$ in the US via Coachella and other US activities.

Play list reach for them at debut days were the same as BM. But they moved up and BM moved down. It depends on the song.

Nobody is checking in on &team or Boynextdoor either; the beef is purely with the Hybe GGs minus fromis_9 because they never blew up as a group.
HYBE boy groups (besides BTS) rely on the fans and have to hope casual listeners tune in because good music won't save them on the charts, like we're seeing with TXT. Deja Vu is their most universally praised title track since 0X1 and it can barely make Spotify global. That's partially due to the stream cap growing since 2021 but also because casual listeners aren't tuning in fast enough.
