Maybe for the general public, but I'm very satisfied with Untouchable (probably my favorite title track since Not Shy) and the album is great.

What matters to me is if I enjoy the music. That I enjoy the group, the members, the songs, their antics and the songs.

I don't need to see "numbers go up" to make me decide if I enjoy the music or not. It's nice having a core of other fans of the group to talk with, but even the most nugu of groups have core fanbases to talk with.

It is exceptionally sad that anyone does let stats influence their enjoyment. Very, very sad.

I thought this comeback was good, in fact personally I've liked their recent songs, even if I recognize there is lack of artistic vision in some b-side choices/overall album sound. But listening to the album, it was actually a good bunch of songs. Probably not the most cohesive body of work (kpop full albums almost never are), but it was overall very enjoyable.

Most of the times, I don't get the constant nitpicking with ITZY lol. Yes JYPE is quite shit when it comes to concept creation but damn, people are so annoying.

Oh yeah, I do agree on the Melanie Fontana part. She and that Lindgren dude need to be banned from kpop asap. Tired of their tuneless songs that age like milk.

I think JYP & JYPE excels in the cutesy type of songs. However both Itzy & Nmixx are not the cutesy type of groups which is out of JYP's comfort zone.

As for Twice they became popular because of their cutesy songs, they have now grew out of it.

It basically went downhill when JPY himself stopped composing for his groups. StrayKids self compose so they are not affected.

All still sell a lot of albums etc, but the song quality is low and if they had decent songs the groups would do better than they are doing now. There is a business reason for this, but I think he should pick one of girl groups to at least help.

I understand they are important to the group but to me personally if I like the song I like the song the charting/noncharting of the song doesn't change it

Yes.

Album did it's job I guess in the west, somehow got good reviews from US publications, but amongst the Idle fans it's not a very well liked album. Just full of mid songs that were cast offs from producers. One of those being Melanie Fontana.

88 Rising are great at promo, but terrible at production/song shopping.

Boys Like You and Bet on Me were SOTY quality songs, i dunno what you're on. This new song isnt that great i admit, but Itzy still has one of the best discos in all of Kpop.

i browse thru this Melanie girl's production credits, she does have some interesting songs in the past like:

- CLC's Helicopter

-Twice's Cry for Me & ICSM

-secret number's who dis

-everglow bon bon chocolat

-aoa's cherry pop

The above are really good. So i wonder why recently her songs are so bland

Voltage was a great song.

Sneakers was pretty good.

They were the trending group then newer grouper came along and slowly the success stans move onto the newer and trendy groups.

If anything, I feel like JYPE is inconsistent when it comes to their girl group titles being solid hits. It ebbs and flows. Album cuts too sometimes have potential to be better than their current state.

I listened to it and honestly, it was okay, nothing spectacular. Honestly, I feel like Born to Be should have been the title track and Untouchable should've been the pre-release. Also, the whole album is not my style at all, the B-sides all bore me, and the title track is meh.
