The place reportedly has 11k capacity, but 60k people were waiting for the tickets.

  • Comparing skz popularity in sk to ive's ijbol

Concerts in Korea are about fandoms mostly and Stray Kids is far ahead of Ive...infact they are also several league ahead of them in popularity too in EA...but that's beyond the point.

Jamsil doesn't hold 11k in concert capacity lol...not even close. It holds roughly 6k...like 11k capacity is in dome configuration. You'll see when Touring Data post about it later this year.

I mean in SK BP are miles ahead in GP popularity and pulled less than 22k in the KSPO which is way bigger than Jamsil Arena...like...22k lol.

  • according to touring data, suga sold out two concerts with the overall attendance of 14 715 audience, which means 7350 fans attended each night.

Fans need to understand that concerts have less seats, seats behind the stage are unavailable

  • If i were kpop companies I'd make tickets even more expensive. kpop fans are going to complain how expensive they are will end up buying them anyway. Kpop fans are ideal customers

Compared to US or Europe tickets prices, Korea and Japan prices are cheap but I can see why they’re pissed because they aren’t used to from local artists.

IVE most have sold between 11-12k, since they have basically the same configuration as Aespa

Exactly and I'm guessing with Suga that was pushing the absolute limits of that venue? 22k is a farce.

Read the part about nosebleed seats

  • The nosebleed seats don't make it possible to extend the venue to 22k over 2 days. Be serious.

Whatever you say that's all thats been reported. Ive concert was trending on korean twitter for 3 days since the announcement and 60k ppl were waiting for the tickets. Those are facts no matter how you question it. Show actual proof of the opposite or youre just babbling nonsense.

Yep, kpop fans like to flex with inaccurate numbers. "They sold out X stadium/arena with capacity of X seats". How is not obvious to everyone that concerts and sport games can't have the same capacity?

I think that the stage was avarage, perfect size for arena tour, so i assume that he did.

He did the encore, three nights at KSPO Dome. It was also sold out but cannot tell you how many people attended, we still haven't gotten the numbers. Regular capacity is 15k, so i assume it's between 12k and 13k. now I'm really interesting in finding out what actual concert capacity is. I guess I'll have to wait for official numbers

Check any official reported concert and find a single concert that has played 11k officially reported numbers per day. Blackpink, peak Twice, etc could get 20-23 thousand in 2 days in KSPO a larger concert venue. Suga got 7+k in Jamsil per night with the support of the biggest fandom in Kpop history, Stray Kids have a bigger fandom in korea than Ive and got 16k for 3 nights.

You want proof? Here try this, close your eyes and imagine if a venue has 11k seats do some maths and work out how you stuff those people into half of them when the stage is covering them lol.

  • wait you thought 22k tickets were for only 1 concert? It's for 2 days. The capacity for each show was around 11k each. Maybe that's why you're confused? Cause if its other than that I already told u

I literally said it in other post for 2 nights. 22k for 2 nights is a farce. You're the one who's confused if you think it holds 11k per night in concert configuration.

To get 11+k in Jamsil Arena you need to have a small stage and play in a 360 configuration, like Boxing or wrestling. It's the same for literally every 360 stadium, dome or arena lol.

I get you. But the moment fans buy more expensive tickets there's no turning back. Companies will have no intentions to make them cheaper because they know fans will eventually buy them

He sold out both nights with god knows how many waiting in a queue

There's no 11k capacity for concerts. Maybe you want them to be but that doesn't make it true

If you say so idgaf im posting what official acconts and actual websites say not what user doesitneedsaying or thebotter is saying

  • I'm giving you actual official numbers with both sold tickets and money earned per city and you are posting numbers fan accounts and media outlets learned by googling "jamsil indoor stadium capacity" ^^

And I am saying that all seats that were available became unavailable in less than 5min

    Whats not clicking

Complain about the numbers accuracy to the accounts that posted it not me

  • I'm not one to defend catzi generally or cape for IVE, but you two people, and you know who you are, really look petty in this thread. Even if your goal is a simple correction of numbers, the way you're going about it sucks.

Congrats to IVE. Hope they enjoy their first major tour.

  • Oops my bad i didnt noticed i didnt post about the capacity

    Woah thanks mate

I decided to look at what I said and realized it made room for confusion but I genuinely appreciate your post

Nobody is saying that they didn't sell out in 5 minutes. The issue is the capacity that is exaggerated. The venue has 11k capacity for sport events, not concerts.

7k-ish is the actual capacity for concerts

  • Actually tho, on fairness I do think they should have booked KSPO dome. Same for their recent venues in Japan. I've should easily sell out the Tokyo Dome.

I think Starship is being a bit safe. Resale is non existent afaik in Korea so 60k is 60k

  • Woah thanks mate

    :pepe-toast:

The moral of the story is that there is extreme demand for IVE, and they have built up a very large fandom.

This is typical kpop fan behavior. Exaggerate numbers and then call out people who are calling you out on it

Don't worry, armys have been there too. Bts sold out Webley twice but not with the capacity Google tells you, 90k x 2, they had 115k attendance in total.

Somehow kpop fans cannot get that concerts and sport events don't have the same capacity. Weird.
