Countering the narrative that NewJeans fandom is full of “uncle” fans

i cant believe having male fans is considered such a disgrace that you have to go to such lengths to prove they DONT have many male fans

all this while I've been such an embarrassments to groups I like

Newjeans actually the new gg after Bp and Twice that able to create such a huge phenomenal among gp at least in my country. Kpop is still not popular among gp especially men and boys other than some 2nd and 3rd gen groups which obviously only the popular one like Bts, Bp, Twice, Snsd, BigBang to some extent 2ne1 and suju. So it's easy to know if that group successfully break the boundary if these demographics knows them. Most non kpop fans including men know their songs, recognise the group and able to sing along the lyrics. None 4th gen groups able to do this yet and I don't think it's something negative.

Yeah it's not diss to say a girlgroup has more male fans. It's also weird to conclude that the adult male fans are automatically middle aged pedophiles if they go see a girlgroup perform live. But again NewJeans is a group of teenagers, so I can see why others would not like the sight of adult male fans stanning young girls.

The crazy part about that notion is nobody has the same reaction when its aunties ztanning txt or something when they are literally kids but i digress. I forgot to remember according to Twitter. Men are evil beings that are sex predators and nothing else.🤡 Also the people who thought new jeans had nothing but male fans were toxic haters. I have tentative plans to go to lollapalooza to see NJ's stage.

I'll make sure to set up a perimeter and prohibit any male over the age of 25 from coming within 300 feet of their stage.

Korean population pyramid looks like this. Odds having teenager fans are becoming smaller and smaller, while uncle/aunt fans will have bigger and bigger proportion.

Why nobody talk about young bg with huge aunt fans. At least if we really into that older fans are creepy for stanning a younger group than make it even for both gender. And those aunt fans are more open showing their thirst in social media. If the best way to besmirch the reputation of a Kpop group is to have it become associated with creepy uncle fans, maybe instead of fighting Tokkis all the time i should just join the Tokki fandom and let my advanced age and stage 4 creepiness naturally tear NJ down from within.

I'm a female girl who wishes this fandom can have more girly girl fans and less creepy middle aged men. NewJeans members all seem so nice and kind. 🙂 I just don't want anything bad to happen to them, Maybe I just worry too much. Lol 😅

Uncle fans in the audience is not what you should worry about, if anything, they are probably uncles, dads or big brothers wanting to see a group perform. Its those that are in power that we should be worry. Like Soyu of SISTAR mentioned. Avoid senior male celebs
