It’s more catchy in terms of choreo and performance than spicy so I’m not surprised.
Yes, why we supporting g-idle who sinning day and night? what has our worldom come to? K-O-R-E-A supporting g-idle queencard when christian gospel music SPICY exist? it aints adding up. peoples out heres streaming music but they aint listening to music, they hearing it but they ain't really hearing nuffin. we gots to stop this. I will not be allowing this in this worldom. it has to stops. has toos
Both are mid but spicy is better
actually am surprised.
The song is fun and catchy but the lyrics at chorus is really 🤣
Next level is a national hit tho. I promise lyrics never mattered

True but no Aespa song can beat Queencard's lyrics though. Aespa's songs usually just have vague lore lyrics. But again I've heard much worse lyrics in kpop, and they were also hits.
Not really everything about aespa is much more cringeworthy than queencard. Like their entire concept in every way. It directly contributes to their inability to appeal to an international audience.
Queencard is rising every day both in Korea and internationally. Camp lyrics can easily transition from being bizarre to fun to sing. A cringe concept will remain cringe always.
I REFUSE to give any attention to Queencard because of the Kardashian line.
Like not even joking.
Giving a shout out to that excrement golem just kills the song.
i don't really see what's cringy in "got everybody mock up to me "
or "get me , get me now"
you seem to have a weird definition of cringy
The first sentence doesnt make any sense. If the writer is trying to say that everybody is mocking Aespa, it should just be "got everybody mocking me".
Lol it's absolutely terrible cringe.
Like take your shots at Queencard etc, but don't act like you aren't a hypocrite listening to some of the absolute nonsense and cringe in aespa's lyrics.
Queencard is more risque and spicier than Spicy, so nope, not surprised. Also think its kinda catchier.
not surprising, people just like to twerk on the runway

Yeah Aespa is a flop because of their cringe concept. Let's move on.
The moment a song has a lyric that calls Kim Kardashian so cool, it looses all it's credibility. I'm sorry. Also the lyrics you have mentioned don't even sound that weird to begin with. Even "Naevis I love you" feels more out of place than this.
queencard is catchy af

Is it really supposed to be taken at face value though?
Plus, I suspect the name was merely chosen for the alliteration with sexy (sekshi).

Not really. But it was a very weird way to give a shout-out. Cool isn't a word I would describe Kim K. Also it didn't make sense to add those lyrics for a song that wants to show how they are the queen.
First of all, if you're going to criticize English, spell 'loses' correctly. Really says it all when you type it out as 'looses' and are taking shots at others English.
And before you go 'typo' you do it here too - RE: WILL YOU SUPPORT BH NGG IF SAKURA JOINS?
So you are the last person who should be talking about English. Cringe.
Secondly, Aespa's lyrics are nonsense, stupid - and what's worse, in Aespa's case, is it extends to their Korean lyrics. Just absolute garbage about kwangya, complete word spam. It's cringe of the highest order, and the other user is right to point out that their entire concept is cringe, as that's what half their stuff is all about.
So first of all, learn how to spell if you want to attack others English, secondly as an Aespa stan you're basically at the height of hypocrisy. I mean go off, but don't pretend it's anything but that.

I didn't even speak about the grammar in the song lyrics in the first place. You are the one who's assuming I'm a Grammar Nazi. English isn't even my first language.
Why are you getting passive aggresive over me finding a song cringe, as if I'm not even allowed to do so? I actually prefer Gidle's title tracks over Aespa's. I just don't agree that Aespa's concept and songs are as cringe as you guys in the thread are making it sound like.
Many western pop hit songs have lyrics that doesn’t make sense.. “baby hit me one more time?” Should be baby hit me up one more time.. Backstreet Boys I want it that way was written by Max Martin who at the time can’t speak english well.. they even had another version with proper lyrics before they voted for the original.. because

You specifically said the word 'fluency'.
How can someone who's fluent in English listen to the song without cringing at the lyrics?
You were the one who inferred that command of the English language was important. I merely built upon your statement. How can you have any idea what a fluent speaker is capable of thinking of the song if you are not great at English yourself (as you so admit)?
If you want to retract or revise your statement then I suggest you do so.

It was just a huge generalization under the assumption that if I, someone who's native language isn't English finds the song's lyrics cringe, how would someone who's more fluent would feel about it? Gosh, can't even speak out an opinion anymore here.
I reread thread again. My posts here weren't about Gidle's fluency in pronunciation of the English lyrics. It was the lyric as a whole and what it's supposed to mean.
