How did nugu group Limelight manage to sell well like Newjeans/Ive already?

I understand the Ive part cuz it's not that far from Ive debut sales, but how they're comparable to Newjeans with 262k? I'm so confused.

It's really wierd honestly they don't even have 1 million views on their MV like that's the nugus of nugus so the sails are hella weird like they have enough fans to buy 35k but not stream ?

some fans buy albums and listen to the albums themselves instead of streaming maybe???

Some companies do that, such as from China or Japan that no one can account for. But 36K is maybe 1/5th of NJ's first day, so its not really that much.

I think 36k is in line with a nugu group for its first week. Especially if they had a predebut release

Congrats to their fans for being able to support their faves. Its always nice to see nonbig4 doing well. I think its believable since apparently one of the members already had fans predebut, and if they are japanese then it makes even more sense as japanese fans arent shy when it comes to spend money on their idols

36K is not normal for nugus.

It just means they should not be considered nugus anymore.

As someone said above there are groups that sale more albums but do badly on the charts, it happens with groups with large fandoms, but not general public support.

Going by their daily sales, this had to be pre-sales

BTW, they have not outsold TripleS (Limelight does have a few more days)

nah i’d argue that both of their sales look “sus” by the normal standards of how groups usually move albums lol. i’ve neither seen such a steep drop off after the first day for the rest of the week (like with limelight) nor a very abnormally consistent number of sales for every day of the first week (like with triples). they could both be legit or they could be not, but I wouldn’t say the weird “consistency” of triples doesn’t look sus compared to other groups. but hey maybe they’re the exception to the rule
