Saw a meme about it on Twitter and wonder if people do this?
Do you stream a song/album you disliked from your fave groups just for charting purposes?

I barely even stream regardless lol, so if I didn't like a song, I just ignore it eyy.

Wtf would I want to do that for if I didn't like the song? That doesn't make sense to me.

There isn’t a song what I don’t like from my favs but when I’m listening music I skip songs if they don’t match my mood streaming or not.
But if we talk about streaming you don’t even listen the songs when they stream? You can just use your phone/tablet with earphones and let a long playlist run. I guess that solves the problem for those who stream for charting.

Yep that’s why I don’t do this. I refuse to give a song I don’t like too many streams. If every fan streams the songs they don’t like it’s gonna make it seem like the song is well liked by fans when it isn’t. Groups and companies should know which songs are actually well liked and keep it in mind for next releases and mass streaming won’t help that. Eventually it’s gonna lead to fans getting tired of mass streaming too and a decline on longterm because the company has no idea what songs can do well and which songs are only doing decently because of fans being loyal

I dont stream for views. Even if i like a song i cant listen to 10 times a day.
Lol you are a normal person 🤣 streamers are not especially those doing it to stat pad most of those people are like sports fans ultra competitive and their entire goal is to make their faves number one regardless of how good or bad that groups performance maybe. They don't listen to the songs regardless if they like it or not they have that shit on repeat on a device or multiple devices that they are not personally using and the volume is muted.

Fan mentality of sports fanatic competitive must dunk on everyone my fave is GOD isn't going to change so they will still be loyal and steam everything. An idol could release literally nothing a empty album and fans will say omg its a new concept just mass support it🤣

Same. But if I like a song I’m streaming it a lot. I’m the type that never gets tired of good music

Nope!

Lol no, I usually give a song I am not sure about a few listens(around 2-4) to see if it grows on me(for example, I was kind of iffy about next level but a few listens later I loved it, and to this day I sometimes do the dance while singing the song in my mind lol).
But if I still don't like it after 2-4 listens then I drop it.
But there are some songs from my favs that I don't really feel like listening to more than once willingly so I don't apply the 2-4 listens on them.
It's not that I hate them and if they came up on my playlist I wouldn't skip them, but it's not a song I would willingly go search on youtube or spotify for.
And then there are songs I genuinely hate and wish I didn't listen to in the first place(cough cough On ft Sia).
