No. I don't think you should be obligated. I remember an interview with Jinjin from Astro and he asked for fans to just root for them in solo activities to be successful because they ultimately help the group.
I think that's a good mentality. Like I don't watch or listen to everything my faves do when it comes to solo work/activities, but it's great that they're at a point where they can get them.
I think as long as you aren't actively rooting against them because "why not my fave member" then that's good enough for me.

That seems like a really good mindset. You don't have to support what you don't like, but don't actively root against it either.
Really, ultimately, if member A is getting activities that member B isn't, that's normally a company thing, not because A ~stole~ the opportunities from B.

I agree completely. It's something that annoys me a bit when someone is labeled a "bad fan" for not listening to a song 100 times until they like it.

Personally, I would at least check out the mv/music made by the members in my favorite groups. Whether I keep listening to it would depend on if it fits my taste or not. For other activities like variety/MCing/DJing, I don't pay much attention and if they act in dramas, I would at least watch the first episode since I watch Kdramas anyway.

No one is obligated to do anything. It could be that they simply don't like a member's solo style. It wouldn't make sense to support something they didn't like. I don't stream/buy every member of BTS' OSTs or single tracks equally because I like some less than others. I've streamed Hope World much more than the other rapline albums because that's usually where my mood is.
