Did Gidle announce their date first? I remember hearing about LSRFM's comeback several weeks ago.
Anyways, i'm hoping for Ssamkura's sake that they also follow in Gidle's footsteps when it comes to success.

I mean the first two are true of half of Kpop.
Self writing chops seems like a strong statement for Le Sserafim. I’m only seeing one song with a lyric credit for two members unless I’m missing something? That’s not nearly the same as what Soyeon does for G (I’m sorry, I’m entirely too lazy to type all the caps and hyphens and parentheses in their name today.)
And I think you could argue many 4th Gen gg are doing this, just their bg peers, that feels more a generational shift and the influence of Western attitudes about “authenticity” because members write songs.
It’s also not that unusual for 4th Gen gg: Purple Kiss has members who write lyrics and music for multiple songs (although fewer ones the last release) and New Jeans has members who wrote lyrics too.
I think it’s more realistic to think the company already had an Oct. 17 date already picked out and decided they weren’t going to change it at this point just because G had the same date rather than assume they would scramble to print albums and coordinate scheduled to align their entire cb to match G’s.
