Nope.

Lightsum might have what it takes, especially with its abundance of talent power and potential present in the group.

Cube only needs to promote them better with songs that build upon their strengths more.

I feel that Lightsum, Weeekly and Purple Kiss all have the potential to get big hits.

People just need to pay more attention to them and not ignore them just because they're not from the big 3

I can't really call it because things don't always go as planned.

I'm still biased for Weeekly. Their vocal melodies are catchy and the synergy between their lyrics and choreo stands out in a way that is most memorable to me. Their overall MV quality is pretty good. Their team needs to be sure to keep a consistent ("quality control") ear on the song production details to keep the quality up. Don't rush to put something out; that way they'll have a quality catalog that can withstand the test of time.

Lightsum will depend entirely on Cube. If they keep the same direction as Vivace, I think they'll be fine. Purple Kiss I really hope will hit.

fromis_9 has like over 120k pre orders as we speak, me keeping a close on them this promo cycle

Being objective, out of those it would surely be Weeekly and MAYBE Purple Kiss and Lightsum (I doubt it tho)

• If Everglow didn't have any interest of the korean public so far, I doubt that will change suddenly
• Rocket Punch are under Woollim and this company seems to be on decline, they have barely made any effort with this group MV's so far.
• I don't even know if Mystic Story could be considered a mid tier company, yes they are under SM but as a K-Pop company almost nobody knew them before Billlie and even now it's quite an unknown company even within K-pop fans, specially compared to the likes of agencies like Cube or RBW. Billlie would need a miracle to get a hit song, not only for that but because the unique style they seem to be going for (which I love) makes it clear that they will go for a more fandom-heavy route.

Weeekly has the potential to get another hit methinks

Given Everglows recent situation, I'm gonna say definitely not them. I don't even expect Yiren to last that much longer with the group. Lightsum is probably the only group with potential but then again I don't think they'll do all that well. This year will belong to the big companies with Aespa, ITZY, IVE, JYPNGG, Hybe labels girls groups, and probably StayC. I. don't see any group doing better than them with the exception of BP, if they even comeback. lol

Chowon ofc! Have been a fan of her since PD48, her potential is massive, hopefully Cube will be able to make that potential blossom as much as it could and that Chowon has shown she could.

Next would be Sangah and Juhyeon

Rooting for lighsum. Also I thing weekly may have a bigger chance.

But with all new groups from the bigger company... Well we will see.

As much as I would like it to be Purple Kiss because I like them so much and want them to be successful and have a longer career, it will probably be a cuter sweeter group like Weeekly or Lightsum, because it feels like there's usually a balance between cute and girl crush in the market.

Weeekly already got a hit internationally and Everglow also does well consistently internationally so unless you're referring to Korea specifically, I'd count those two out as well. Personally, I have a strong feeling Purple Kiss will surprise us this year and get their big break but I just wish they had a better group name.
