I mean, if they are staying together anyway and still make great music?
It's revealed your faves secretly hate each other. Do you still stan?
-
-
I stan mainly for the talent and music, so yes
What happens behind the scenes is not my business
-
-
-
-
Been there done that

We definitely need a kpop/fight club crossover :D
-

-
Uh depends if that hate shows up obviously on camera. I wouldn’t stan in that case.

Honestly the key to longevity to just fight on a rooftop on a cold winter day.

idk i think it depends.
twice has always been portrayed as having a bond beyond just being in a girl group together, like they consider each other sisters and literally still live together even if they don't have to. if it came out that they actually hated each other and everything they said was complete lies i would kinda feel betrayed? like it's a given that they've probably gotten into fights with each other or had days where they couldn't stand each other, but if they were basically enemies being forced to work together until their contracts end? that would be BRUTAL lmao
if it's a group where they're closer to being coworkers than besties and it turns out they hated each other i'd be like yeah that's fine, that sucks that they had to make it work for that long. or even if they were friends that just had a falling out and it never got resolved. but to be like "we're family, we can't live without each other" when they aren't even friends is too much. it would change the way i see them for lying like that
-
They were not a kpop group, but they were close in their first year then after some years there were some stories (it was most visible in performances) and then they made up lol The supposed reason for the fight was because one of them wanted to control the group's music
Edit: Let me add, they still released songs during the time they hated each other and the songs were still great and even after the fight fans were able to make fandom jokes about their friendship so yeah... they didn't explicitly called out each other like blackswan tho
-
Yes. I'm more about the music anyways
-
I mean I would still like their music and think they're good performers. They still do their job well.
Wouldn't be as interested in watching lives, interviews, etc. though. Fighting sometimes is normal, but if they secretly couldn't even stand each other and all of the portrayed bond was 100% pretend, it wouldn't be the same watching stuff like that lol
-
-
Of course, after all, I'm a loyal fan.

Ah, well it's good they made up tho! For non kpop, there also is the famously feuding Gallagher siblings. Man, I loved Oasis

Yes, I'm here for the music, so that's not a problem for me

I'm sure there are members in all bands who don't get along or hate each other. You don't always get along with all your co-workers and this is their career first. Most of these people were strangers before they were put together in a group so it's more than likely certain personalities don't gel.
As long as the music still sounds amazing, and as long as they don't act unprofessional on camera, it doesn't affect my fan status.
Right? Like how likely is it than any random group of 4-9 strangers thrown together will all get along and feel like a family unit? Especially the larger groups. Plus, the environment is so stressful and competitive. A lot of them even get created through competitions. It's got to be weird after that.
Also, Milly, beautiful Milly, fellow guild member, hi! Do you like Monsta X? Would you like to help them get a gif badge by voting for my petition?

Some people say that a group's bond and their non-music interactions play a big part in them choosing to be a fan.
-
Oh yes, I couldn't stomach that either. I don't want to actively support toxicity.
-
Actually I would really like to see Jungkook in a fist fight. That would be very entertaining to watch.
Some of y'all are bloodthirsty lol
-
-
-
Absolutely.
-
-
-
I don't know what my reaction would be, but definitely, I will still stan them because it's their problem
-
-
-
I meant I'm a loyal fan in general not just to Aespa.
-
-
-
Really?? Those must have been some beautiful fights...

Wha...what is that gif? lol And welcome new person :)
-
It happens before, not kpop tho but jpop. My two faves admitted that they hated each other for years, until they grow turn into adult and reconcile.
Normal fans are okay with it, except those weird shippers.
well, yeah, shippers.... they read a lot into things.
