It’s not that. I just don’t think other metrics like streaming and concert has also quadrupled.
For example when exo sold 600-700k albums they did a tour with 600-700k attendees.
Something tells me these people aren’t gonna do 5million attendee tours. Probably their tour will still be around 1mil or something like that.
idk about tour numbers, but I feel like Seventeen is stil growing now that both bts and exo are in hiatus and hitting their 30s.. I feel like a lot of people are getting into them now esp since they got into hybe bc they have more solo acts, interact with a lot of high visibility groups and also are still active as a group which bts and exo are not for the time being
so emily in paris was not that far off from reality.. emily also semeed insufferable
taylor since the nicki minaj feud
Kpop taught me to be more open towards music genres and cultures. Just from the top of my head but I listen to a lot of pop, hip hop and city pop bc Kpop lead me to it, I'd search music references etc.
About toxicity I've only interacted with it when it comes to kpop, but it's just bc I'm more into it than my previous interests, stan culture of anything was toxic before and it continues to be toxic now.
Also, last but not least, that american music is not the center of the universe.
cuties, they should do a joint magazine cover
edit: I really hope one day we can see them being carefree with each other publicly, like just interacting in a tv show, red carpet, ig post, whatever. I know they are not public to avoid hate but as a fan who saw both groups go from rookies to what they are now I just wish they could crush those delusional fans who still think these groups are somewhat enemies or what their dumb fantasy is.
is someone actually against them dating? im soo out of the loop, like.. what these people expect?
twitter OP seems like an insufferable person to be around
yes, they just need a catch song and they're going towards it, the members are charismatic and talented
they all look good omg
I generally agree but I also understand the people. For them it's a one of a lifetime experience so they want to record so they can keep it forever. In the end if you look at it objectively it's dumb because hardly ever you will see the whole thing through your phone again, just some moments, and its better to enjoy but you can't expect much from a society who gets dopamine by social media (not a call out, just a reality) and probably wont have the chance to go to this concert ever again.
