Will Aespa ever outdo Next Level?

It's quite possible.

I’ll be honest. No. Even your fav will never beat NL record in domestic charts in this next few year. BP might have a chance. But if they can’t the record might be broke in next decade. Savage might not livin up with NL hype but atleast, it reach PAK and the next PAK by gg might not going to be happen anytime soon(BP might get it)

Personally, No. Next Level was so iconic. They will make more successful hits, but not as big as Next Level, personally I felt like Savage was a downgrade. For example, SNSD never topped into the new world, but they made other iconic songs, almost at the level of INTNW, like Genie.

well, this is their first comeback after 'next level'. there are not many group who released hit after hit especially if they had a hit song like 'Next Level'. Let's give them time. I'm sure they will come with new banger (even when I think that Savage is one).

Chart-performance wise? I don't know. Vocally/musically/artistically? Absolutely.
-
anything is possible
they debuted just a year ago so plenty of time ahead

it's surprising that a song like savage got so much hype. savage is not a taste for everyone, for example me too. a song that gives you a headache or makes you nervous at some point is not a good viral song.
in the next level the lines were incredibly well chosen, there weren't that many high notes and Karina's voice in "next level" did a catchy job all in all "it's just a blessing on Karina's tone domination". so I think if they did something like that again, but less loud, it would be fine. the change in pace was very good and smooth, the sound effects and instrumental were pleasing to the ear.

as a MY i wish they could outdo Next level at every comeback they do
but i know that Group get this type of hit once in their career, even if they release hit after hit it's hard to reach the same level than their first mega hit
look at snsd, exo, twice, etc.... they had one mega hit and even if they keep releasing hits after hits after hits none of their song could reach the level of impact that growl, gee or cheer up had
i'm just proud that aespa can be consider as one of this artist who will have a hit in their career who will last among kpop fans as a massive hit
not a lot of group can reach this level of success with a song in their career and aespa did it in their first year
that make me proud to be a MY and even if they never outdot NL in the future, i'll keep stream and support them until they celebrate their 10th Anniversary

Not sure how the op can say Savage isn’t living up to Next Level when it started out stronger and has the same longevity so far
-
-
Maybe we are getting Realy Next Level like Red Velvet did with Bad Boy and RBB
-
It’s not easy re create your hit song all our favs have a signature song that cannot be topped
Aespa did with next level I’m surprised that savage is really stable it’s still in the top 10 after 6 weeks which is difficult to achieve lol they are doing well it clearly meet the expectations so

Very unlikely
Aespa came with Next Level at the right time and place. Next time the GG competition will be more fierce

Will Yaya_1 outdo SeulgisAbs and godkingteshub in making hit threads??
-
Digitally probably not. Let it be known that they were even able to beat Butter by freaking BTS this year in terms of digital points and were able to break some records set by IU. It's longevity in the t10 is like unprecedented for a girl group.
I see it as their Cheer Up. They probably won't be able to beat it ever but as long as they remain consistent digitally there should be no issue. Savage is already doing pretty great so it's a good sign.
In terms of quality they already beat it with Savage and ICONIC.

The Gee erasure??

The Gee erasure??
Forget that song existed...
-
Yes of course!
-
It's difficult, since now lots of ggs will debut, knetz always check out new ggs and hype them so some of the attention will shift from Aespa, in terms of quality Savage was downgrade from Next level, but b side Yeppi Yeppi was upgrade

great...good for you my friend

So now one of the notorious Aespa resident troll is acknowledging NL is actually a HIT? Weren't some of y'all saying it was a massive flop. Pick a struggle Considering it had 100K rak and 4 PAK this year, no GGs has ever done except Brave Girls with Rollin? And it still showing longevity in the charts. They already did it. -

Does an artist's peak coincides with their biggest song?
-
they have great voices, and sometimes SM has a genious producer that brings a "Psycho" out of the blue for SMGG...
But lately SM is lazy as f**k with their work.
Next level was already done when they pick it up, like all their art work (stolen from pinterest)
lets hope Fast & Furious make a new come back, maybe they will get lucky AGAIN
