TBZ's korean fans are much better at downloading than Korean MOAs, but TXT has more followers on Melon and better ULs on their b-sides and title tracks on both Melon and Genie.
AB6IX actually has the most digital points of 4th gen bgs active now, but that's mainly due to Breathe. They've been stagnant in digitals since their first comeback. TXT is 2nd, then TBZ is 3rd.

CIX is, like, one of the few 4th Gen BG i can name who have memorable music.This summer bop went unnoticed. The sound is somehow melancholic, too, which is quite unique for K-pop. Usually summer sadnesses comes from japan LOOL.

tbf Jinyoung wasn't really as popular as someone like Daewhi in Wanna One. And yeah, they're really underrated, they have one of the best 4th gen discographies, really solid imo.

I have an impression that Lai Guanlin has huge fans, then Bae Jinyoung also have the same or equal that bc they have the same vibe 
TBH, i wasn’t much familiar with Wanna One, as that’s mostly just stories from my co-army who multi’d them. -

As for Exo it's sort of odd, a lot of people don't consider them a full 3rd generation group, they are in the space between and it's weird. They debuted at the same time as groups never really considered 3rd generation like AOA, BTOB, Feistar, Vixx, Hello Venus, Exid, etc so it's kind of odd. most of the time almost no one calls those groups 3rd gen, Exo is like their own special case.
I've never really seen 2012 considered 3rd gen seriously since almost no top 3rd generation group existed during that time.
when I got into kpop back in 2012 I always assumed exo were 2nd gen it was confusing because some people consider them more in between generations. I guess people later considered them 3rd gen because they have lasted longer than most 2nd/2.5 gen groups and made a bigger impact so it made sense.
so I kind of see exo an exception to the rule.
NCT however are pretty much 3th gen lol even NCT dream debuted in 2016

Oh please let's not generalize Korean teens taste i love the groups mentioned above but seriously it doesn't mean anything this survey was made by cosmopolitan magazine and God knows how many teens took part and this survey and how popular this magazine is among Korean teens this poll is as relevant as polls made here in the forum

Yeah Exo are very much a wild card, legit none of the groups that debuted around them(some were even later) are 3rd generation.
It's because Exo blew up around the same time as Twice, BTS, Gfriend, Red Velvet and Blackpink I think so people automatically associate them with those, very much 3rd generation, groups. Def' agree they are the exception and not the rule.
I feel like Stray Kids might creep into that position too since almost universally 4th gen is consider to have kicked off some time in 2019 and SK debuted in 2018, arguably 2017.
yeah I think stray kids might but I don't agree with the boys they literally debuted in 2017 and they are a bit older at least SK debuted in 2018 and they are kinda close in age with most 4th gen boy groups.
