I think the 'noise' type of music in KPOP is just referring to the EDM type of song. Well, since the early 2010s, this type of music already been sing by some idols group, it just now the genre is accepted by many and mixed it with another genre. It becomes a norm in KPOP

I don't think it's merely lack of knowledge but often wilful ignorance – if they propagate all groups (but their faves) are making the same thing and lump them together based on superficial similarities it's then easier to make their faves seem special to themselves and outsiders.

Well, there nothing we can do. Unless there is another genre that will take SK by storm. I think that might be one of the reasons why 4th gen hard to chart higher in Kchart. It's actually hard to make improvised EDM. Just seeing SMA yesterday made me realize, the non-EDM song is like nowhere to be found among idol group

well that is true. But people think that all those groups who does EDM music have totally similar music. But EDM music itself has so many different sub genres like trap, synth-pop, future bass, trance etc. Even the trance subgenre has different subgenres within itself like psytrance where used in SKZ's Side Effects. All these groups use different subgenres of EDM music and incorporate it totally differently. But people don't know the difference and say their music is totally same which is sad. Ngl, even some people who listen EDM kpop music say they can't differentiate SKZ & ATEEZ's music.

That's why I'm still living in 2nd gen tbh.

TXT and Treasure are good tho.
