The way Cube defended her instead of just admitting/apologize like SM did with Irene/Tae and JYP did with skz member shows Cube believed her.

And if a group member lied to the companies face, made company defend her in public and tying G-idle’s name in the scandal, only for company to see proof she actually was a bully.... You bet she’d get kicked.

man cube really fucked up how they handled this, imagine if they had let her apologize and recognize her mistakes instead of backing her up into a corner accusing her accuser. to be fair idk if it was 100% cube's decision, but i'm assuming it was.

Honestly didn’t expect this development. I for sure thought this scandal would blow over after awhile like it did with literally every other group and gidle would be able to come back good as new by the end of the year at the latest. Cube’s handling of this issue has been done very poorly in all aspects, to the point that it’s been blown to such unnecessarily huge proportion. The outcome could’ve turned out way different if handled by a company more competent at damage control regardless of what the allegations are. Sad day for cube gg stans i guess

The second that actress accused Soojin Cube should have known it was true, i mean there is no way an actress is gonna lie so i feel like Cube already knew at the time Soojin did it, they should just told her to apologize back then.

And isn`t Lia basically the same case as Soojin i mean JYP even sued somebody on her behalf (and that didn`t go well) and Itzy are having a comeback.

JYP took a clue and didn't give Lia full hiatus (they still hid her a lil in activities) because Midzy would riot. Also, they still beliebe her, probably, like we do.

Tbh idk what's the best way to handle what happened but I do know the company and soojin fucked up along the way.

Should have just apologized at that time instead of dragging like that and took a 1-year hiatus or smth... that would have made things better.. sad that she had to leave though.. she is a great dancer..

Agreed. But since Soojin personally spoke about it, wrote a letter and stuff, Cube must be afraid of k-fans boycotting the group altogether if she stays. Lia has stayed silent about her case.
