What Butter has done is amazing as Butterboys has said, but what's funny is that its UL count is not only way below Dyna at 27 days after release (Dyna was peaking right about now at around 700k, while Butter is at 440k), it's also noticeably below LSG. Butter is doing so well internationally but it's not resonating the same way that Dyna did in Korea, it's not even resonating the same way "lesser" hits like LSG did. This to me is really interesting and probably grounds for additional analysis.

For research purposes, this is what LSG was doing after 29 days of release.

It's going to be a three way war that's for sure.

I'm still curious to see if Brave Girls does what SSAK3 did to HYLT. HYLT was leading Melon for 3 weeks until SSAK3 came and knocked HYLT all the way down to 3rd place behind both SSAK3 and Maria. Next Level might end up like Maria did though, which is unfortunate, staying at #2 for a long time behind first Butter then Brave Girls, but never getting #1.

lol the only reason i put up LSG is because it's the only song i tracked closely following Melon reform. I knew when i saw Butter's UL numbers that it wasnt all that different from LSG's after a month. It kinda shocked me since everyone was raving about Butter's chart performance, i saw tons of threads about how it was doing better than Dyna, but maybe those were talking about its international performance?

But forget LSG for a sec, the craziest thing about all this is that Next Level actually came out before Butter, with only 200k UL or so during its first 24 hours. 31 days later, it's still peaking 437k UL. I dont think it will ever reach Butter's peak of 530k+ UL, but just watching this rookie group come for BTS like this and maybe have a chance to outchart it with longevity...just insane to me.

And i aint predicting it will. Butter hasnt relinquished her crown just yet lol. Anything can happen.

I have admit it's rare to see all the top 5 songs have their uls so close haha. I'm happy with any song topping Butter in the end. It had a good run for more than 3 weeks so I'm not complaining. :-D

whatever will happen, i'm already so happy with how amazing Next Level is doing, so i wouldn't be dissapointed when BG takeover
