Who even says that?
Digital Monsters need atleast 5 big Digital Hits......
Like BIG HITS.....
And it should be consistent.

I’m seeing people calling their faves digital monsters because of one song charting on Melon 😭
I thought they were just being optimistic but they are being serious...
This is what I consider a digital monster
But, yes, you need more than one hit to be a digital monster. You need consistency.
The only digital monsters I know
I think consistensy is important to be considered digital monster.

They were most likely joking. That's stan twitter type of humor.
Please, in kpop you don't even need a digital hit or hits to be considered a digimon. A group just needs to do kinda ok and their fans will crown them digital kings/queens and then ask where are all the haters at now...

Very true😅
But that's too high of a criteria for kpop, then they'll never have a digimon.
yes. also, define what is a hit first is.
in this forum, others or some consider those who chart in top 50 for 1 week only to fall off the next week as hit.
I think MassiveKpopFan is trying to objectively define what is considered a hit. Saw a thread of his earlier.
I was thinking about making this type of thread few days ago, then realized, this type of topic is highly volatile and it will probably turn into a shit show.

and Life Goes On and ON as flops 🤭
so seems like a lot of users here agree that no kpop girl group deserve to be called as digimon ?
This is what I consider a digital monster
I am rewarding you for this masterpiece of a post lmfao
A digital monster is when the artist can do well in charts whether it is a hit song or not.
IU and BTS have been constantly getting high rank in chart, high ULs and PAKs every comeback show why they are the digital monster.
I would also consider Blackpink, OMG, and Twice as the digital monster. They can always chart high every comeback.
Biggest flops of the kpop industry
The only digital monsters I know
Hell yeah
Myself, in this digital world, I am writing crap things.
omnimorphism Sorry I didn't see you made the joke before I do

AKMU maybe?
AKMU maybe?
No. They have Re-Bye, The Way People Move, and 100% for starters.

Yeah, they all forgot about Bigbang
Wait u guys dont consider Red Velvet digimons? They have a lot of songs that did well on charts. Rookie, Red Flavor, Psycho, Bad Boy, etc…
Mamamoo is definitely digimon, imo. Moreso, Hwasa..
Heize is also another digimon. I think OMG is definitely digimon status nowadays. What about ITZY? Aren’t all their songs charting decently on the upper half of melon during their promos?

Red velvet is inconsistent most of the time. Zimzalabim, umpah umpah, rbb didn't perform well in a row.
Mamamoo's digital power underrated over here . They are very consistent but their hits aren't as strong as twice or BP's. I agree about hwasa.
Looks like it's been a while since a heize track has taken off like HAPPEN.
