Apparently Enhypen was leading the 1st and 2nd rounds, but in the end, for some reason, Jimin won, who was in 6th place. In fact, it's cringe that an artist who is not popular at all in Korea takes such an award in the form of a fan choice, in general, Jimin's popularity is very strange, last year he was not as popular as he is now, even his album was just a flop, and now suddenly he has become as popular as Jungkook. All these factors just fly in the air and as a result, a chain reaction.

Lsfm fans were mad long ago when Perfect Night was snubbed for SOTY ( rightfully so tbh!)
ILLIT fans thought Magnetic would beat Supernova for SOTY for some reason
Mys thought aespa were winning Artist of the year ( rightfully so!)
Enhypen fans thought they were winning the daesang Jimin won!
Conclusion everyone’s mad lol

This is an article from here doesnt sound like an unpopular guy in Korea lol
Jimin of BTS continues to showcase his exceptional popularity on Spotify Korea. On November 15th, Jimin topped Spotify Korea’s Weekly Top Artist chart, marking his 70th time at number one. This makes him the first and only artist to achieve this milestone.
Additionally, Jimin has held the top spot on Spotify Korea’s Daily Top Artist chart for the 478th time, continually extending his record for the most days at number one on this chart.
Jimin’s solo second album 'MUSE' and its title track “Who” have also shown remarkable staying power. Despite no official promotional activities, the track debuted at number one on Spotify Korea’s Daily Top Songs chart upon its release on July 19th and has maintained the top spot for 120 consecutive days as of November 15th.
His previous title track, “Like Crazy” from his first solo album 'FACE,' holds the record for the most days at number one on the chart, with 268 days. With “Who” now at 120 days, Jimin has secured both the top two longest-running number-one tracks on the chart.
Jimin has amassed a total of 424 cumulative number-one days on Spotify Korea’s Daily Top Songs chart, further solidifying his record as the artist with the most number-one days.
He also set the highest single-day streaming record (360,000 streams) and the highest weekly streaming record (2.39 million streams) for “Who” on Spotify Korea. Notably, Spotify's chart counting system excludes streams from repeated loops, ensuring accuracy.
Jimin’s “Like Crazy” holds the record for the most streams on Spotify Korea, surpassing 42 million streams—the only song on the chart to cross 40 million. With “Who” reaching 31 million streams, Jimin becomes the first and only artist to have two songs surpass 30 million streams on Spotify Korea.
On the global stage, Jimin continues to shine as a representative K-pop artist. His “Like Crazy” recently surpassed 1.3 billion cumulative streams on Spotify globally, while “Who” crossed the 1 billion mark, further cementing his influence.

Now open the Korean charts and answer one question, why does he have 200k streams on Spotify in South Korea, but he is absolutely nowhere in one chart of his own country, while Rose and Bruno Mars with APT at the peak of popularity in all the Korean charts had a maximum of 90k streams on the same Spotify? Jimin has been showing the result of 200k streams for half a year now, and this result is the same without changes, even Jin's comeback did not affect this figure in any way.
I don't know, it's obvious that bots are just streaming his music, it's just obvious to everyone. It's impossible to be only on high positions in Spotify, if you're popular, you're popular in many charts, not just one.

Well his song currently ranks #13 in Global Billboard chart.
And has ammassed a total of 1,061,832,856 streams in total (as of this moment) with 6,775,880 daily streams. On spotify, that is.
BTS’s Jimin dominates Spotify Korea charts with unmatched popularity | allkpopThe main highlight of the linked article above??? So....yeah. Where did you say you got your information from, again?

I'm just amazed at how stupid people can be, the artist shows the #5 result in Worldwide by streaming in Spotify with 5 million streams, while he is not in any top music platform by streaming. I opened YouTube Music, his tracks are nowhere to be found, neither Worldwide, nor in South Korea. I opened Apple Music, in the top of South Korea at 16th place, in Spotify Korea #1 200k streams, the absolute maximum, even Aespa did not show anything like that, in the top 5 Spotify Worldwide.

Great. What about awards?
I tell you why people are mad but you will not like it.
Jimin is not respected as an artist because of his solo stans.
And maybe because through his whole solo chapter Jimin didn't have a single big live solo performance like every other BTS member. You know what stage is in people memory. This is how he is viewed outside fandom.
They would tolerate any other BTS member win. And they said so. Except his.
Brutal truth.

BTS really killed off Kpop, didn't they?
Well, BTS really destroyed the image of K-pop in the world, now every international awards show has a separate category of "K-pop awards" thanks to BTS to limit the culture of empty streaming and fake popularity. But in the meantime, every K-pop group tries to focus on the Western sound, losing the sound of the original K-pop. In general, yes, K-pop is losing its identity, that's why there is such a decline in popularity.

Right now I opened up the Apple Music Top 100 Global, I see aespa - Whiplash at #34, I don't see Jimin - Who anywhere in that top. Let's look at Apple Music Global Top-100 again: Lady Gaga #10, Rose #3, Billie Eilish #5, Gracie Abrams #11, Jimin none, Jin none, Gigi Perez #43, Sabrina Carpenter #22, Oscar Maydon #31, Billie Eilish #17. That was Spotify's Worldwide Top 10 vs. Apple Music Global.

You know you're wrong as evidence by the fact that you're not-so-skillfully shifting the goal posts.
You were talking about his streams on spotify earlier on being 200K and now you're talking about his charting on spotify. You were talking about apple music korea and now you're mentioning the global charts. Be so fr.

Want to talk about Apple Music Korea, ok, let's compare: Jimin +200k Spotify streams - AMK #16, Jin +90k - none, Jimin +65k - #61, Rose +60k - #2, Jungkook +55k - none, aespa +50k - #1, then of course 6 BTS tracks - none, Day6 +30k - #11, Babymonster +25k - #9, Karina +25k - #6. Hype artists who are in all the charts of Korea have 4 or more times less streaming than an artist who is nowhere to be found. If you open Melon, the situation is even worse there. A popular artist with a hit?

Don't know where you got the 200K spotify streams from.

These are also unfair points of comparison because most of the songs in the top spots were released recently so naturally, they would be in the top spots.

Enhypen won their Bonsang at first place, they were not overtaken by anyone. It was a Bonsang voting poll and they won. Also, the screenshot you are seeing are the app votes, twitter votes do not show there.
There was a VISA voting poll which is a different poll, that one belongs to Dasaeng voting. It has been a Daesang for 7 years btw, you seem to have missed it....
----
Also, isn't it funny to see the usual clowns mass crying because Jimin has a lot of fans who stream his songs everywhere and then mass crying AGAIN because he won a FAN VOTED award?
Their two braincells fail to connect ideas...
Well, never stop being pathetic I guess
