They're the most streamed girl group in the world on Spotify, the top artist on Circle in Korea, and the best charting foreign act in Japan currently. They're still the queens of their generation.
IVE was their closest competition, and if NewJeans fell off, then IVE must be on life support based on their last two comebacks.
It's all silly posturing and set up from salty 3rd gen girl group stans who will devote every fiber of their being to tearing down the next generation instead of accepting the fact their generation is over.

If mhj never fumbled with hybe, newjeans would still be in the same ascending trajectory, they were just as popular as hybe money allowed them to be, they were nothing special actually.

NJ is only 2 year old GG. And they still have high number of sales among other kpop group despite all drama. Either they have stable fandom or they just that good.

Half full or half empty. Dude, it's 1.5m copies in a month. It's impressive considering they lose their support over childish army, and it still has full support from GP. If NJ success only depends on Hybe mercy, they should have been ended up like 50/50. But they are not. There should be something that Ador done right or NJ is that special.

Is good, but the 40%-50% drop in sales is too loud, and they also dropped similarly in other areas so by all means is a catastrophe. We still have not see newjeans all by themselves, they still have the embers of hybe support and lot of attention because of the mhj vs hybe.

What do you mean by trend? bc NJ's "core" group of fans is still larger than all of 4th gen. After losing all those token HYBE stans their monthly listeners dropped by 8 million compared to their previous CB (26m to 18m) and guess what - they're still the 2nd most streamed group on Spotify 2nd only to BTS

It's not really that hard to analyse. Since Ador released separate single albums within extremely short span, it is clearly will affect buying decision for fans. Some fans are waiting for SN album, while some will not paid more for new ones. NJ lost majority of hybe stans for sure are affecting Spotify streaming, since US and Indonesia (army largest fan base) are mostly Spotify user. But can this be called catastrophe if the reason of low in spotify streaming only due to "MHJ boycott", irrelevance with the songs quality itself ?
And please don't give credit as if hybe giving support to them. last two albums and fan meeting are all under Ador management work before and during the feud. PJW himself also stated that Hybe had no involvement on planning for fan meetings or such.
