I still call bull on that 'faster music production'. As always, give it 1 to 2 years post debut and they are back in the dungeon and into yearly releases.
-
Stuck in the middle, like you a little?

April fools comeback
-
is it another digital release?
Yes but I think this time, they gonna perform it in music shows

Oh, you dummy, Ahyeon. You should've left YG. Now, you're doomed. As a soloist, you could've been more successful in a long-term. Another Rose incoming, I see.
Also, this:
"Yang Hyun Suk announces YG Entertainment increased the number of in-house producers from 10 to around 50 and promises “much faster process and quicker than before."
What a load of nonsense. So, they will produce average or worse songs faster. Nice idea. They're so desperate. I don't get it how he forgot how to make good music. No wonder, everyone who made good music, left YG. Even, Blackpink members.

Good for her!

good news of the year!

BP didn't make any music in YG though

I guess they learned people don't have a patience to wait years for new music, they'll lose interest and move on to something else. If they followed blackpink model they wouldn't have a chance to compete to current 4th gen gg top groups

I know, but Black Label isn't YG, especially now that Teddy left them too. YG didn't do these things with Blackpink or any other groups since 2NE1 disbanded. That's why BP members want to do their solo career separately from YG too.

AKMU isn't a group, they are a duo! There's a difference between writing and co-writing. You're right, Winner and Treasure members have more credits, so it looks like only girl groups don't get the chance at YG, or more like BP. About Babymonster, I'm not sure, it's too early. Most co-writing credit only means 2 or 3 line or just giving ideas or something.
"Maybe you were referring to SM or other companies."
What? Most SM artists do the writing and composing too. 😅 Not to mention SM's Blind Test where they chose songs from Idols without knowing who wrote it. Sure, as groups they don't have too many credits, but as soloist, they have. YG is MILES behind SM, and I'm not even a huge SM fan anymore, like 10 years ago or so.
-
it isn't a first time things like this happen tho
was same with Purple Kiss
and they also ahd similar situation Swan suddenly got sick and they were waiting for her to comeback, to make proper debut
so they started to drop those pre-release mv's/performance videos without her

Not to defend either company (both are awful) but you're getting a lot wrong here.
Blackpink had plenty of input on their music whether as a group or as solos. Their creative team is the Black Label. They've complained about lack of comebacks, not of being creatively stifled.
2nd SM is probably the most creatively oppressive out of the Big 4 with plenty of their idols complaining about their system of not getting to choose songs directly or outright being ignored by management

So will he change the logo again?

Everyone can see any Kpop artist credit on KOMCA. Here are the stats for the Blackpink girls:
Jennie: 2
Rose: 4
Jisoo: 2
Lisa: 0Rose is the ONLY member who has writing credit as a soloist, too. I don't really have time for doing a detailed research about SM artists, but as far as I saw, even Seulgi has more credits alone than BP girls together. I'm not saying SM is a good company, they are far from that, but much better than YG, that's for sure. Let's be honest, even if SM artists don't write or compose many songs, the fact is that SM produce much better songs than YG, and they are versatile too. Like I said, I don't like SM, I mean, my only favorite group there is Red Velvet after SNSD. Aespa is okay but nothing special tbh. As for soloists, there's no one who can beat BoA in my eyes, not even IU. And some group members who became soloist like Taeyeon, Wendy or Seulgi.
-
you can't be serious blackpink has some writing credits even if it's not much ( jennie, jisoo and Rosé) or you forgot? I actually think they have given more input than it seems given some things they girls have said on behind the scenes and stuff ( clearly they want more hence they didn't renew for their individual stuff lol)
I think Jennie has writing credit for the girls she had two credits thrre and Rosé also got writing credit for that.
you are trying to make it as if bp didn't show any interest in that

In SM, especially when it comes to solo careers, idols have a lot ot input. Like A LOT, that doesn't mean SM is always approving of their choices or that they have it easy, they have to fight for it but in the end they have a lot of input and creatove freedom.

Yeah you're just wrong
Yeri: 2
Seulgi: 1
Joy: 1
Wendy 1.
Red Velvet despite having 5 times the discography has around the same amount of writing credits. And RV have plenty of songs they either didn't like or could only describe as "idk lsm just gave it to us" which is the case for a lot of SM idols I've stanned.
If you like SM soloists better, good for you but that's something else entirely

I know the boy groups do, especially NCT but as someone who mainly stanned their girl groups, I just can't agree. At best, they play favorites with who gets a say and who doesn't. Maybe things changed with aespa (although I doubt it with the whole Tree planting thing) but I really don't see it. The whole blind selection system is a huge block imo

I am mostly talking about solo careers tho
SM is more controlling with group image and sound (although they can make exception here and there, especially with senior idols) than with solo careers.
