Is Korean numbers global or only in Korea?
I'm pretty sure it's a mix. The YouTube numbers are global, while the streaming numbers are Korean only. The data wouldn't look like that if it included global streaming.
-
Also, not the non organic views portion exposing some groups like
-
I'm very curious if a group has ever had the three top most streamed songs on Circle. I'm willing to bet, if any group has ever done it, it could only be Big Bang. And if I add the additional criteria of one of those songs releasing in the previous calendar year (Hype Boy), I'm willing to bet it has never happened.

Love to see NewJeans' domination!
Stray Kids Top 5 most watched and most liked artists, but 0 MVs on "Most promoted videos", yet K-pop stans come for their numbers on Youtube, that's surely a choice.
-
Damn some of those ad views are wild
-
-
The circle chart most streamed artist and song is clearly Korean data only while the YT ones at the top seem global...actually even that Yt one seems flawed cause as per YT's most recent data Golden alone has 1 billion streams on YT so unless they are accumulating only JK's MV views then it makes sense..

The non organic views getting exposed…

The data is a bit absurd to me cause BTS is pulling these numbers on youtube every other week...so why are they missing in the most watched artist or most streamed whatever lists...how accurate is this data set?
This was just last week

NiziU 69% paid
BIBI (solo artist)

Jisoo got 10M likes for MV and 3M for DP which result her having 13M likes
Same for views Jisoo got 447M views for MV and 135M for DP which result her having 582M views
On top of that it only count 2023 releases

Before someone made Baemon's name dirty because of view ads
I would say YG is good at it. Baemon does not have a promotional place other than social media. Doing ads is normal, especially if you are still a rookie. What's not normal is when you are a senior and still have ads. Are you happy when the agency pays YouTube instead of YouTube paying your already famous idol?

Have we got circle charts for 2023 did NJ take entire top 3?
Big Bang did 3 top 4 but that was digital

The main purpose of ads isn't to boost the view count, otherwise they could just buy bot views and be done with it, since bot views are significantly cheaper and would read as "organic" on the charts. But those views are fake, nobody's actually watching. Ad views are more expensive, but they're reaching real people who might become real fans. That's why MOAs are so happy to see TXT having high ad views.
We thought before that with BTS going on hiatus, Big Hit was finally giving TXT proper promotions...but in the end all we got was those ads, and the rest is still garbage

That explains why Ateez is up there
