How do you choose your bias in a group?

I don't choose them,

They choose me.

My mind just chooses randomly. Like with got7's yugyeom, got7 just used to prank him all the time and make him cry, so I felt bad for him and chose him, or yoongi from BTS, he has no soul behind his eyes, just like me, so I like him. Or It's just destiny, like with Soobin from TXT.

It just happens

And people often claim you pick them based on your own character or look but thats impossible if I look at each and everyone of them

I never have strong biases in the groups I like

Visuals in a music video or their singing part that stands out.

For groups that aren't SHINee (my ult group), my bias is usually chosen for looks. The more I care about the group, the more likely it is that my bias is chosen because I genuinely like them. My bias wrecker is chosen the same way.

For SHINee, I chose my biases based on criteria:

1. who caught my eye first
2. who's the funniest
3. who's the best performer
4. who contributes to the group the most (imo)
5. whose personality do I like the best
6. then how hard was it to be impartial in my assessment because I like them on a scale of 1-10 (the actual bias ranking)

so who is your bias?

I have a preference for lead or main vocalists and I have a soft spot for a lot of different personalities but's it's often the sweet girl next door type (Wendy, Bomi, Wheein, Jihyo, Miyeon, Ningning...)

Personality, I almost always become biased to the idols who are most entertaining. Usually the funniest, wittiest, meme-able members that fits my humor style.

When I become interested in a group, I'll start to watch the variety shows that they are in and usually after 3-4 shows, I have a pretty good idea who I find the most interesting.

It is difficult to tell because you never know if they are doing it as a part of their job or it is actually, so for now I'll go with on-screen demeanor, personality, the way they carry themselves. Then their abilities, dancing or vocally. Entertainment also counts too!

I recently watched Earth Arcade and found Yujin and Mimi really attractive, not in terms of romantically, but their personality-wise, I think its like an 'appeal' (the whole casts are great btw). So I guess for them, its not bias perse, but more of an appeal as of now. Bias changes depending on who catches one's eye one moment, and then onto the next.

for Stray Kids , it was Felix because I heard of his DEEP ASS VOICE so basically his vocal duality and then I started stanning skz altho for my 2nd bias, Changbin , it was seeing him during concert perform Red Lights & I just found him mesmerizing because of his performance so he's now also my bias

for BTS it varies by day and well yeah. altho recently it's been between RM & Jungkook and maybe it's because i have similar traits to them then again i share @ least 1 similar trait to each BTS member but a M/V where they ALL bias-wreck me or just WRECK me is

Often what I do:

1. If our birthday's are similar or close to May.

2. Based on music taste, or social media account aesthetic/ if it's similar to mine or something that I want mine to me with.

And 3, kinda what you said it depends on the artist, for me I really cherished rapper's and my idol's usually are however like my bias Hyungwon, more and more are the vocalist's in the group's.

YES!!!!!!! it's just amazing; the M/V is fancy & elegant & stricking and the lyrics are very deep & meaningful. hence why it's my favorite k-pop song of ALL TIME & my fave BTS song of all time
