Has ANY 4th Gen group had a national hit yet???!

No, not even close...

I would infact argue only Dalla Dalla was any kind of hit but still miles below national hit level.

Remember national hits are generation defining songs like Gee, Tell Me, Good Girl Bad Girl, Cheer Up, Fantastic Baby, etc, etc...

90% of the so called '4th generation' barely chart in the top 100 of bugs.

DALLA DALLA got the closest, but it needs time to be marinate in South Korean consciousness before being considered.

Everything else either did decently or was a statistical flop.

It's very likely the overall biggest 4th gen bg song and definitely brought them many new Korean fans and attention, but I'd have to say it's more of an international hit

Dalla Dalla is 4th's gen hugest hit but not a national one.

Dalla is the closest of what you can call national hit by 4th gen, everyone else is miles behind. Based on chart performance I think it is (especially for idol group standards) but who knows, am not korean

Move Over National Hit, Here comes Really Really Top Big Hit Song based on Korean data and metrics

The term National Hit has caused mass confusion, debates, arguments, fights, fanwars and discussions between people in the kpop community and beyond

Thus, we of the kpop megachurch research division in our infinite wisdom have decided that the use of the term National Hit is out-fashioned and outdated and not suited to kpop moving in the 21st century.

Usually, national hit propelled the group to top rankings and it haven't occur for now. The top rankings still dominated by BTS for BG & BP for GG replacing Twice since DDD takes off. Dalla2x is not a national hit, Itzy even cannot overcome RV who is in 3rd rank.

None tbh. Dalla dalla was the biggest hit but nowhere near national Level if we're being honest.

People confuse HITS with NATIONAL HITS. Many 4th gen groups had hits internationally - God's menu is a good example, Crown too, multiple Idle songs. But nationally, no group has actually had a national hit. As others said, the closest that comes to a national hit is Dalla Dalla. Hopefully we see better and more intriguing results in the future

Ah, because I consider The Boyz a 3.5th Generation group. This AKP article is also in agreement with that classification.
