It's a nice MV.
International for Twice by a landslide, but a lot of that is to do with Kpop being far bigger now then back than. But every metric shows it was by far Twice.
Japan? 100% Twice. Longest charting song for a Korean in Japan, TT recently just stomped in a survey for national choreo, dome tour, higher sales when Japan market is about half the size now compared to when SNSD were active.
Korea? Closest it's been. Honestly it's hard to tell without living in Korea. SNSD was part of a wave of groups like Big Bang, Wonder Girls and TVXQ that propelled the Kpop we know today as a household staple for people of all ages in SK. So naturally their is a lot of romance to that era and it's difficult to compare acts from than and now.
I would say SNSD pip Twice in Korea.
So overall at their peak, Twice certainly.
Hard to say.... think 450k is fair since Twice is one of the lesser front loaded acts and usually climbs a bit, probably go on to be their 3rd x2 plat seller in August-ish.
But you know we've been over this before a comeback 4-6 weeks after the Japan release that they've been taking pre-orders of Kura Kura for over a month now and also had I Am Sana and a Japan concert recently so I don't expect too much Japanese Once to buy right away so I think the first month will be around 450k.
I also don't think Jype will do Kino's or vinyls and those can easily tack on 100+ thousand extra sales, but again JYPE(judging by Itzy) will be doing the standard 3 boring versions again.
This is why it's so dangerous to suggest things like this, even now some fans are still saying he did it when it seem apparent he didn't.
This guy is a photographer on set how many hundreds of images from all angles do you imagine he has of the shoot? If he wanted images of that nature he wouldn't take them in front of a freaking film crew lmao.
But it's been said by some fans and others will continue to harass, abuse and still attempt to destroy his career for no reason other than their own stupidity.
1000000000% agree male privilege exist everywhere in the world in every industry and it's really undeniable. Especially in countries where very much exist an obvious societal patriarchy, Korea is one such place.
Certain things exist that a lot of fans don't know about. For example a lot of broadcasters, award shows and music festivals still employ a seniority performance order but if also a gender performance order where the males will typically close the show and often get more screen time too. Just look at Twice and BP on Archive K where they got like 10 minutes of screen time combined which were iirc the lowest of the show, worse still Twice had a lot of theirs split with Jinyoung Park. That's just 1 example.
Lmao not sure if this is how it works but taglist?
Sorry I don't have the tag list.
Irene, maybe. She is absolutely hated in certain Korean boards and by the certain people in the industry.
I think it 2020 being a total piece of shit to hard working staffies was such a bad out of touch look for celebrity it just made her look like a real pos.
BUT she did give a seemingly sincere apology and handle it well and won back a lot of public to her side. So I think her maybe.
Also def Boa.
OP made an epic gaff now is pretending to troll.
Yikes that's cringe.
I think they mean the song, not the albums.
Billboard200 is an album chart tho? You cant enter the 200 with a song. OP even talks about album pre order and JB mentiins both Guess Who and EP in the Tweet.
OP was talking about albums, they just failed and didnt look it up.
nobody crossing akb48 for a long long long time
they still sell like 2M a year
Yeah since they aren't a 'real' or fixed group and more like a concept they can effectively keep rotating the roster for pretty much ever and keep selling 1-2 million for years and years.
I think their last single had idols from about 6 or 7 different idol groups on it.
