But that's not the point. We're arguing the impact of YG, and for YG boy groups just having a hit songs unlike most bgs already proves the existence of such an impact. It is not a direct BP vs Winner comparison, it is a "YG boy group vs other boy groups" and "YG girl group vs other girl group". In fact , Winner might not have as good of a longevity but they actually fare much better against other boy groups than BP does against other girl groups.

Wtf are you even talking about? Didn't you even read the OP? Not all RV's title songs peaked at top 10 in melon but bp did. All of BP comebacks never out of top 3 in charts, hence the question if they have the longest gp attention. It is so simple dude

for the 3r gen so far they are

the have the best solo performances in korea, with 3 top3 including a bside in top10 and internationally with money smashing and lalisa/solo consistency (jisoo showing good consistency so far too, buts its too soon to tell)

a jennie/rosé mini that could come next (bc I doubt yg will them an album) will do well too, whoever think its not the case is dumb af. Any duo could do well to if they decide to do that

It's too early to be claiming this. But I think everyone underestimates them too much. They will surprise everyone in future. In my opinion, they are the best group to come out of korea.

For groups overall its clearly bigbang so far. First hit in 2007 and basically every single/title released since hit #1, with the last one released in 2022. A span of 15 years.

Taeyang is not bigbang and hes never been a guaranteed hit maker on the charts, his last big hit was eyes, nose lips back in 2014. Same is true for all the other members solo projects with the exception of GD.
