Le Sserafim is definitely being targeted

could you explain your reasoning?

Does it really matter anyway? Being successful in Korean was always only a bonus. It has never been about the Korean market for Hybe's Lesserafim even before they debuted. Just like Twice and BP hardly promote in Korea now, because it doesn't really matter how well they do there.
The target market for Lesserafim has been #1 Japan then #2 Global. Korea is maybe #10.

Plagiarism accusations
-

If it’s the plagiarism stuff, it makes no sense because the same producer was involved in the songs and/or it’s using samples.
People don’t know what plagiarism means anymore…
the fun part of this whole thing is guessing who's trying to make this Cancellation attempt happen, the timing couldn't be more sus

What blows up?
-
-
There's 2 possible outcomes when these plagiarism controversies happen:
1. It's far fetched and people ignore it -> Nothing happens
2. It's outrageous and it goes viral -> More publicity for the release but 99% of people will still not give a crap and listen to the song
Doesn't really matter. It reminds me of Kitsch going super viral for Liz having 6 seconds of lines. Sometimes I can't help but to feel the companies create these controversies for viral marketing purposes. This is just another reason for people to check out LSFMs new songs when they come out, just like everyone wanted to know if Liz would have lines in I AM and that ended up being one of the most discussed things on release day: "oh look, she has most lines here!"
Sometimes the controversies are so obvious and would be so easy to avoid that I can only think the companies are doing this on purpose.

Are they coming from sites like Pann and theqoo? They are toxic and notorious for blowing things up. If it’s targeted, the comments are usually filled with antis, trolls and fans from rival groups. Wouldn't take these kinds of sites that seriously. It’s like taking comments from allkpop or reddit and making them seem like it’s a collective conclusion from “knets”.

but songs do sound the same if we're being honest

the fact this wasn't an issue when antifragile first dropped but now it's suddenly being brought up. the timing is truly something else.
but it's a sign that some people feel threatened by LSRF so good for them ig
tbf I have seen people calling them out since their debut for borrowing heavily from Rosalia.

they don't though
the only reggaeton song they have is antifragile which Isabella Lovestory worked on, a legit reggaeton artist. Not our problem uncultured people only know coloniser Rosalia when it comes to that sound that is very popular and widespread in latam.

I mean it is obvious they are very inspired by her, like i don't know what you get from lying about that lol, they have mentioned her as an inspiration and you can see they emulate her style and sound.

name one song aside from antifragile that is even remotely similar to Rosalia's sound. And again, Rosalia didn't create and doesn't own reggaeton, that's a super popular genre outside of her music.

I dunno anything about reggaeton except that i dont much care for it and all the songs sound the same.. Is Rosalia the only singer that sings this genre of pop music? Maybe that would explain why reggaeton songs all sound like carbon copies.

Rosalia is in an awkward spot at best because she very openly moved out of her lane (flamenco from her native Catalan) and into the Latin pop/reggaeton space despite being an outsider initially
(awkward because she's European Hispanic, not Latina)

I'm so annoyed by this situation, but they probably targeted the girls because they saw them as a threat.
