I notice Taylor fans have been very bitter with BTS recently on Twitter. And the time with Olivia Rodrigo fans when Butter was against Good 4 u. And on ATRL where there’s lots of pop girl fans hating on Jimin charting high too. Why pop girl fans hate BTS so much?
Why do pop girls fans dislike BTS so much?

Wow. So rich when western artists beg for fans to buy their shit. Pretty racist as fuck too
-
It's mostly insecure men and edgy young girls on twitter
Doesn't matter much because I think BTS have a bigger fanbase than most of the western artists
The same way male gg stans act like listening to boy groups will cancel out their masculinity. But on the broader side of things, it's very simple. It's bandwagon hate because it's better to be sheep than think for yourself lol
There are multiple videos on youtube where they'll mention hating BTS for no other apparent reason because it's a cool thing to still do.

They literally sound salty and bitter on those screenshot
Isn't it obvious they just feel threatened by them?

Twt fanbase of TS has always been annoying, they love to insert themselves in every matter but I don't blame Olivia fanbase for not liking armys as a fandom, they(twt armys) literally started a hate train against that girlie.
I know, it was insane. She had very organic numbers and they spent months on a full out war with her (she didn't care). But without Butter G4U would've been #1 for weeks.
Things died down with the Grammy performance (I think).

There were literal threads made here, on this very forum about how Olivia was an industry plant, how her success was fishy/inorganic and all of that was purely because good 4 u was going against Butter on the Hot100 So.
Love Taylor but alot of her fans (esp the newer ones) are really rude for no reason so that's not new. ATRL drags everyone but men who see alot of success will generally get dragged harder, BTS aren't the exception. Honestly there are alot of obvious answers to this question and OP is acting obtuse for no reason but what's new

As they should.

good job to olivia and taylor fans. they know the real truth, that BTS are trying to ruin the music industry. we all know that BTS for years have been stealing and releasing fraudulent songs and poisoning our industry, we need swifties to end this terror, only they can fix this. we need to have faith in them.

HAHA, don`t you get mad when people describe BTS fans JUST LIKE YOU JUST DID?
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
the double standars cheff kiss

it's edgy pop diva fans (usually gay young men) who ironically have a lot of pent up misogyny. there's also massive unspoken xenophobia in the diva communities. i actually saw someone on ATRL once say re: BTS "they're talented, successful, and hot -- everything ATRL resents." LOL it's true and you have to remember pop diva culture is often about celebrating women, downplaying men, and embracing flops because pop is supposed to be silly ironic fun for them.

It's a common trait in stan culture, especially when you let an excessively competitive spirit get the best of you. They see BTS as a threat. If you think AKP or even the K-pop online community is notorious when it comes to this, it's a lot worse in other spaces. Lots of casual racism. K-pop fans can hate each other all they want, but when your favorites are big enough in the West, you'll deal with a whole different breed of toxicity and hate.

BTS is a threat. They are very successful. Stans generally hate successful people whom they see as a threat to their favorite artist. They most detest the competitive fans who loudly celebrate BTS's success. "I hate ARMYs, therefore, I hate BTS". So goes their logic.
BTS is way above their Kpop competition. They have a huge and very loyal fandom. They win . . . ALMOST all the time. They are the standard to which other groups are compared to, by the industry itself. This success rubs off the wrong way to other fans who, deep inside, want the same thing for their favorite artists.
As for western music industry, they are also a threat. BTS getting close to the status or level of well established western artists, or sometimes surpassing them, annoy the hell out of the pop stans. It may also well be about racism or xenophobia. Let's face it. There are a lot of them racist bitches around.

They probably think they are supporting artists for their music, rather than supporting artist just for their name
-
I mean the meltdown should be expected. They're angry when BTS are already breaking records without remixes or tricks, etc before so how much more now that BTS are playing their game.
Imagine if they're also resting for 2-3 years without music completely starving Armys. I would really like to know that.

True her success was organic even tho I'm still salty about her PR using Sabrina for publicity stunts. But I still agree, people felt something when driver's license was released. Dejavu is still all over the reels. She had no solid fandom but public liked her a lot.

It's the mass buying they dislike lol

Some K-pop fans, also accused by One Direction fans of rigging the contest, did not react well to this, starting a hashtag of their own, #DirectionersFuneral.
War Of Words On Twitter Between One Direction Followers And T-ara Fans Gets Ugly FastLess than 48 hours after K-pop girl group T-ara knocked One Direction out of Billboard's Fan Army Faceoff in the semifinals, the group's fans or "Directioners"…www.kpopstarz.comQuoteProgressing on to the next common insult, “At least One Direction doesn’t look like transgendered trash like how K-Pop is,” this carries more than racism, but now, transphobia, and also, sexism are involved. If confusion exists, this derogatory remark is based on how K-Pop idols, specifically male idols, use makeup and, according to Western culture, appear moreover as “feminine.” Efficiently saving time, for the discussion of male idols using makeup and how insulting them for such equates to sexism, I will redirect viewers to a review on Infinite’s “The Chaser.” In the review, I discuss why males’ usage of makeup is frowned upon, and sadly, critically engaging the topic, it is more than pure deviation from social norms, but rather, how said deviation is negative as femininity is undervalued to masculinity.

She's a great singer and good songwriter. That she threw two people under the bus for hype was bad but I really love some of SOUR's songs.

so they dislike nicki minaj and taylor swift as well?
the issue with bts is always that when given the same tools as the rest the fandom goes extra hard. BB was fine with how things were calculated until army made it seem easy but the truth is few fandoms would've been able to replicate it so the issue was only BTS.

I was a huge 1D fan at that time and Tara's win really shocked me I had no idea what kpop was around that time I just knew they were some singers who loved dying their hair and wearing fancy outfits.
