Do you feel negative toward an artists when someone has them on their dp and hating on your fav?

Not with the artist, more with the fandom

I generalize and they are all shitty

Yeah a little but it sucks cause the idols themselves are probably nice or smth idk

I dont feel negative towards the idol himself/herself, but i will not hesitate to shade their faves in response

it's illogical when people do it I know some people that use DP's of idols they don't care about so their faves don't get dragged when they are trolling

i dont think i do, but i think when they have cute girl idols as their pfp saying the most unhinged negative stuff its kinda funny im sorry

other than that most hate comments i see are on twitter and within the own fandom w/ idols of the same group so

Not the idol themself but the fandom. I just think "____ (idol) doesn't deserve such a dumb fan, I'll be praying for them." It's important to remember that it's not every fan, but it sure is the loud ones and I sure will laugh at them in my head.

It's funny, because whenever I see pfps of idols from other groups that "rival" my faves, I am always surprised when the pfp user is actually saying nice things about them, because most of the time it's the opposite that happens.

Specially now with the ongoing 4th gen gg fanwar on twitter.

My annoyance is mostly directed at the fandom but yeah I start ignoring the artists out of pettiness too.

Not the idol. I like so many groups that I couldn't see myself feeling that way.

Sometimes it makes me want to shade the idol even if I actually like them, but I remind myself I am a mature adult and don't open that can of petty worms lol.

If enough people in the fandom irritate me then I start to associate the fandom with displeasing feelings, but I've been into KPOP so long that I have felt irritated by just about every big fandom out there.

I immediately get negative feelings about that fandom.

It gets hard when you fancy that group and fan from that groups fandom constantly shades your ult group... mess

Most of the time I don’t know who their dp is so I don’t care.

Just the fandom, not the idol in the pic.

Why sould I be mad at for example about (let's say) Kang Daniel when someone has his pic as DP when Kang Daniel didn't harmed myself in any way or wasn't involved into any scandal that I would dislike from him?

I think a lot of people pride themselves on their ability to remain objective BUT

honestly I think it does affect people's subconscious feelings/associations towards the idol in question if there is a particularly persistent troll using their image as their dp.

I will admit that there is a particular jin and jhope picture that seems to be used often by the more condescending members of their fandom on here and that probably in some way affects feelings even if users aren't conscious of it.

I did for a certain idol due to a certain user here. But they have long changed their DP so no more hard feelings.
