All of the dead have so far been identified. Families are being notified.
Injured people were being treated at 59 hospitals across the greater Seoul area. 33 were reported to have serious injuries and another 116 minor injuries.
The alley was just 13 feet wide in some places, and described as: "a downhill 4 meter-by-40 meter path that links a busy restaurant district with a main street, where about six adults can barely pass at the same time."

Missing totals vary because there are thousands of reports.
The victims:
- Predominantly women (97)
- Predominantly in their 20s (95), followed by 32 in their 30s, 9 in their 40s and 4 in their teens
- 20 foreigners (4 each from China and Iran; 3 from Russia; and 1 each from the United States, France, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Norway, Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Austria)
- The number of serious or critical injuries has risen from 16 to 37.

- 26 foreigners (now 5 from Iran, 4 each from China and Russia, 2 each from the US and Japan, 1 each from France, Australia, Norway, Austria, Vietnam, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Sri Lanka. The American victims have been id'ed in American news reports, I'm not sure about other countries)

- Death toll rose to 155. Everyone has been identified.
- Total injured is 149, 33 serious, 116 minor injuries. This includes 5 teens with 2 still in hospitals.
- 2/3 of the victims were in their 20s, 100 were women, there were six teens (5 hs students, 1 middle school student)
- The government is providing compensation to cover funeral costs and for survivors.
- A 475-member government investigative team is reviewing CC footage and conducting interviews. Korean and international newspapers like the Washington Post are also reaching out for additional information based on reports they are hearing.
- The govt is saying it didn't anticipate so large a crowd and that the event did not follow the proper bureaucratic steps.
- 130,000 people passed through the Itaewon station. Experts in Korea and internationally noted that the govt could have routed the trains to bypass the station to limit the amount of people entering the town, as well as using the cctv to help establish and deal with what was happening.
