I feel like they are proof that charting and wins isn't always proof of quality. Just because you don't have a large fandom to push you forward doesn't mean you're a flop. It just means you're underappreciated.
Four or five years from now people will post "Why didn't this Pentagon song blow up when it came out?" threads.
True and Pentagon definitely delivers quality music.

Is there something that one of your fave or bias said that made you give that WTF look?
For me is when minzy actually called 2ne1 girlcrush, i nearly choked on my nachos. I was like WTF, hell no minzy did not call 2ne1 girlcrush but damn hell she did. I swear I died a little inside, well I almost did with my nachos. I was disappointed in minzy, if CL ever calls 2ne1 girlcrush I will force nachos down my throat and really die. How about you?

I'm not a huge fan of Justin's song, I do like As long as you love me, but I have to say Lonely is such an amazing song, it's like his whole life depicted in that song, he openly admits to his problematic ways but also that he was reaching out for help. Im glad he is moving in a new direction in his life and being more positive. As for haters, meh, unfortunately it comes with the territory as long as his fans support him that's all that matters.

absolutely, too many Stans of any artists are psychotic idiots supporting their artists.
The particular example is Army because some of them are the ones best exemplifying the worst behavior right this moment.
Obviously not all fans are like that. In fact the vast majority of fans aren't, but the worst ones make everyone and the entire pop industry look bad.
The artists themselves hate it also. I really wish more artists would call their fans out on this stuff.
I would love it if artist called out their fans, some need it. I know in my fandoms they do. But a few toxic fans dont represent a whole fandom.

I'm actually really proud of it. Please read juseyo
CONGRATS! Great article. I'm glad Brave Brothers didnt give up on them and their fans.

I beg to differ. Your comment seem to assume that Western music is far better than Asian music, which is wrong. There are better Japanese songs out there than some of the songs currently being released in the west. But that’s just being very subjective.
In a case where both sides release quality music, why do Asian artists still sell more? That’s how the question should be answered.
Where did I ever assume or say that. There is great music on both sides.

Well Soojin said it was a personal issue between her and a former friend, has always said she never bullied anyone. However I still think we should stay neutral, I'm pretty sure something big will come of all this.

I find it funny how people here are assuming that only Asians have fandom culture. Fandom culture is also pretty strong in the West. We have acts like Taylor, the Beatles and Harry Styles having lots of pure album sales in the streaming era too due to their big fandoms.
Western acts just can’t build that same loyalty Asian fandoms seem to have now. It is dominated by casual fans rather than stans. That’s why currently apart from Taylor, western acts can’t seem to sell out stadiums and only perform in arenas because casual fans rarely will spend money for your concert if they don’t even spend for your albums.
And unlike Asians where an act’s success depends on their fans like how it used to be in the past, for the west it all depends on label support. And they do this because western acts lack fandoms to stream for them unless it’s pushed down the gp’s throat.
Western acts do have fandoms but it's not what makes an artist relevant in the west, it's the music, because in the west music comes first, and if it appeals to an audience it will do well, and have longevity, even one hit wonders have longevity in the west, even if they never had that fandom, popularity or we never heard from them again, that 1 song put them on the map. Psy is one good example, and probably the only Korean act whose song has had longevity in the west, and his song became popular not because of a fandom but because it went viral and people liked it, that song is what 9 years old and it still gets played on American radio. Even tho kpop fans like to discredit it, you got to admit its longevity in the music scene.

That's cute.
