i’m sorry but start up and cheese in the trap killed me. I hated the main ship in start up it ruined the vibe for me, ik it’s a silly and petty reason but these people weren’t getting anywhere and the male lead? Oh goody, we have a little boy with anger management problems. And cheese in the trap bored me to death within the first episode, and the male lead was scarily manipulative..

But i'm in general not into kdramas, the plot, stories and acting are usually not my cup of tea. I wanted to watch this one, because it was so popular and it seemed different.
It was different probably, but still not something i would enjoy.
The problem is probably me, i'm not into cheesy romantic stories or stories trying to be moral but are not really.
I’ve tried multiple K-Dramas and they were all like that. Itaewon Class was the most different from all of the ones I watched.

A lot of the "hyped" dramas I never watch, like Sky Castle, maybe it's good, but sounds really boring. Sure I watch hyped dramas if I think they sound intresting or have an actor/actress I like. Some of the hyped dramas that I have watched are also good, but maybe the hype was a bit too much, like Goblin. It's a good drama, but maybe not at the level as the hype.

Couldn't get passed into the first episode. It looked really overacted and unnatural. As you said I also wanted to watch this one because of everyone else praising it..

Itaewon Class, everything except Kim Dami's acting & Kim Dong Hee's face is awful & cringe. I blame Taehyung for watching this, fool me once, meh. Waste of time.

couldn't even got to the end of the second episode....
The only highlight was Hyun Bin.
Son Ye Jins character was so unlikeable and seemed really stupid, she didn't know anything about North Korea.
The drama should have ended after the first half of the second episode where the soldiers should have buried her 6 ft. under

Start-up, boring... I don't get the hype I forced myself to watch it just for Suzy, but I ended up getting bored and dropped it half way through. It was boring and cringey, I will take a cringey show if it was at least entertaining, but this was not it, like everything was cringey in a bad way.

The heirs was mediocre compared to all the hype and I just couldn't get into Itaewon Class.

At the time, Playful Kiss.
I remember everyone hyping it up saying it was gonna be the next Boys over Flowers and it just fell down weak to me tbh. It was too fast then too slow and never got into it.
