Your favorite mid-tier girl group?

Probably WJSN. I just recently discover their discogrpahy and so far I'm really liking it.

I rate Dreamcatcher really high. I remember buying their album as soon as I heard it back in 2020. But their 2021 releases were kinda underwhelming to me so haven't kept up with them for some time now. At the moment I don't think I like any of these. Probably fromis_9 but again I haven't listened to half of their discography. But I have to say most of their main singles are amazing. Some are worthy to be added to the playlist.

If all group are flop and nugu for Akpop i can mention every group i stan right ?

Would Oh My Girl fit in this category?

Idk...they're not that popular internationally but are still pretty popular regionally...

I'm going to go with Dreamcatcher and Tri.be.

Everglow, loona, dreamcatcher..... err I don't actually have a good metric for mid tier groups (popularity or otherwise)

It's one of my favorite songs rn, I think they'll break out of nugu tier soon! They are upper-tier nugu imo.

I'd say maybe? But OH MY GIRL is a great choice, their last album was one of my most played KPOP albums of last year. Their discography is golden & they all seem like very nice girls.

Oh My Girl is an amazing girl group which such good songs! I would definitely choose them if they qualify!

My other choices would be Weeekly, Everglow, Dreamcatcher, Loona, and StayC

And yeah fromis_9 have some gems. WE GO, Feel Good, Love Bomb, DKDK, etc, they're all really nice. If you want to listen to some bsides I recommend 22 CENTURY GIRL(probably my favorite song from them), Airplane Mode, Escape Room(from their latest album), Clover, Dancing Queen & Miracle

Thanks for recommendations! I really liked 'Escape Room' when someone posted their performances the other day. That is definitely something different from their other songs and they owned it. I might actually go through their whole discography cuz I don't think they have more than 30 songs maybe. I heard they had long break. Like 1 year or longer idk......

LOONA : I don't really enjoy their recent stuff, but their early stuff (+pre-debut) are easily some of my fave Kpop of all time.

WJSN : The opposite of LOONA, early stuffs are not really my liking (Secret is a bop and a half tho), but their recent stuff is top tier Kpop.

fromis_9 : A heavy grower group 4 me. Not necessarily the most unique group out there, but definitely one of the better sounding one in my opinion.

Dreamcatcher : The most consistent in TT quality. Altho, I kinda hope they go with a harder sound than what they are doing right now.

I think Everglow for me.

LOONA, fromis_9, and PIXY. Mid-tier in terms of sales, perhaps, but I like them more than the big names.

I agree with all of this - but so far PIXY sounds like a better Dreamcatcher than Dreamcatcher. DC needs better material ASAP.
