Did Cube make the wrong move to kick Soojin out while Hyunjin is still promoting fine with Skz?

How many times do we have to say that their scandals weren't the same?

And it's common knowledge that antis have gcs to flood bad articles with comments so you shouldn't assume that's the "Korean opinion"

Irene, Soojin and Hyunjin's situations were completely different. You shouldn't be comparing the three.

Soojin withdrew because she committed to a legal case which is gonna take god knows how long to resolve. In the meantime, she had to stay on the sideline because knetz would have dragged her like crazy no matter what, and the whole group along with her. Cube and/or Soojin most likely assumed a prolonged hiatus wouldn't be enough to keep the group safe from the controversy; that's why her official withdrawal was announced so that the angry mob move on to something else.

Among all controversies that arose earlier this year, I think Soojin's the one that received the most coverage. No wonder when another celebrity is involved. That explains why Hyunjin (and others) were able to resume their activities in a reasonable timeframe with minimal backlash. Their respective situations don't compare.

Not digitally. They are okay, but not great. But, they were on a digital decline before Lia's scandal, so I don't know how much that actually affected anything.

Plus, physically, they are still growing, and Lia has that OST for Red Sleeve. So, who is to say that bullying controversy was of any consequence.

GIDLE = relies on public

Obviously boy groups have massive fandoms compared to GIDLE's fandom. Seungri STILL has a lot of fans supporting him

JYP wouldn't kick Hyunjin out since Stray Kids isnt popular in Korea in the first place and Hyunjin is their most popular member internationally while Gidle are popular in Korea and they want their market there

The scandals are way different, Soojin's scandal beside the fact that she's more popular than Hyunjin in korea involved a actress which make the scandal bigger than hyunjin and any other bully scandal during that time

edit: mind to say that Soojin could have survived too if she would apologized at the beginning which i'm not sure if i can blame on cube since she seam to want to not apologize and fight for her case
