I've never understood that one. They look totally different to me. It's like when everyone was complaining how hard it was to tell Red Velvet apart when they debuted when they all look totally different. I think Taeyeon/Boa/Winter/Irene/Yoona/Krystal all fall under the umbrella of classic SM visual, but idk how to put it into words what they all have in common, because they all look very different to me yet still have that SM 'look' to them. Whereas Karina/Seulgi for example don't at all despite being very beautiful themselves but in a different way than those others.

Interestingly, Red Velvet members look very similar to each other at times due to the makeup and styling. Without the makeup for certain promotions or comebacks, though, they look different from each other.

Same here! Everyone says that Winter looks like Taeyeon but to me, Karina always reminded me of her more.
Like here, they have very similar eyes, imo:
