Everybody always talks about how hard it is for multis but what about we faithful fans?

Liking only one group is definitely more difficult. It's like living in a banana republic. When one of the bananas puts itself in the wrong container, all hell breaks loose.

I reckon it's worse for non-multis.

You seem to get too emotionally attached, sometimes almost unhealthily.

There's also a narrow-mindedness when there's anything around your fave.

So moral of the story is lighten up, don't take it too seriously, and start multi-ing :D

I relate to you. I might be a casual fan of other groups but I will never support them like I do with bp....I wouldn't buy their merchs or albums etc maybe because I'm cheap lol I guess I only go out of my way to support blackpink.

I agree, but I think I make my life much more easier by stanning one group and casually listening to multiple kpop groups cuz we all probably dont want to miss out on any BOPs just because of our own pride

I don't buy their albums

I don't attack nor defend them (nor others...)

The multi stan life seems a little too overwhelming to me. But then I stan NCT, so idk.

I only stan 1 group too. It's simply because my money and my time won't enough if I invested more into another groups but still... I casually listen to various musicians, Spotify and YouTube exist to enjoy them.

but can`t u just have priorities if snsd would comeback they would be my absolute number one priority, followed by NCT and RV and so on.. i can still be a fan of other groups, but if they have a comeback at the same time as one of the groups i prioritize and i have little time, is will just catch up on the other group later

edit: i have a set of 3 groups i follow super close, anybody that says they stan 20 groups and know their every move is either a liar or they have no life

I just started thinking of Kpop the way I do about Western music, I like what I like and keep it chill

loyal fans are pretty admirable though as long as they don't take it too far

I call myself a multi because I poke my nose into a lot of different groups music but in the way you only support one group, I do too. Well two because I’m hell bent on getting my favorite Exo album but I only ever bought physicals from Txt.

It seems like people here take their kpop seriously.I don’t even know what the groups I like are doing if they don’t have a comeback. People even have worries like how will they watch all the content their faves release or other mudane things. Life must be good

That’s completely understandable, but I find that most multis actually have a few groups/soloists, ect that we tend to favor and support maybe a little more then other groups we stan. Personally, I’ve only ever spent my money on one group’s physical album, but I still consider myself a true stan of around 10ish groups where I follow all their content, news, and discographies. The hardest thing about being a multi is when you stan groups in direct competition with each-other, and you constantly have to see people from various fandoms get pressed at each other over their faves, because you can’t really pick a side. Or at least for me, I usually just stay out of it.

I stan 5 groups, 5 GG

and 4 of them made a comeback at the same time, I had so much content to watch every day it was really too much

i dont give 100% effort to more than one group, but i do follow other groups.

E.g. I only stan BP, but i follow Iz*one, (G)I-DLE and aespa closely. I also casually listen to Twice and Itzy.

I buy physicals for BP and aespa only

I know how this feels.

I have always been considered a loyal fan (a little too loyal), but there does come a time to let that loyalty go for another group that comes along. I was a fan of SJ for eight years ago until last year when I unstanned them for my own reasons. Their music just doesn't do anything for me anymore. Now I stan BTS and Aespa and am loyal to them but I wonder how long for. I tend to get bored of groups after a while.

This is cringe and unhealthy. Kpop idols aren't your friends and what you should prioritise is your own personal enjoyment (because that's what music consumption is supposed to be about) and not some sort of stupid loyal parasocial relationship.

Good thing I don't go as far as buying albums/merchandise, accomplishing streaming goals, etc. so I can just focus on appreciating Kpop music itself and not being broke all the time haha.

The only thing I'm faithful to as far as kpop is concerned is my own entertainment
