Idk but for me boy groups have both best title track and besides , for gg's it's so-so like red velvet have really good besides...

The girl group stan in me says no. I listen to plenty of boy groups title tracks and some many girl groups have great b-sides : Loona, Red Velvet, Miss A, Twice, Mamamoo, Dreamcatcher, Blackpink, G-Idle, f(x)...

I agree. It depends but usually when I listen to girl group songs it's title tracks and with boygroups usually it's bsides.

There are exceptions (pretty savage imo is better than anything blackpink released last year) but if I don't like a girlgroup's title track, it usually means I don't like anything from that album. If I don't like a title track from a boygroup, sometimes that means nothing cause it's still likely that I do like another song from that same album.

That depends on the group. I think in a general sense there are a lot of b-side tracks I like more than tt for both gg and bg.

I disagree in that most of what I consider top kpop albums are gg one's so to me girl groups have better albums and thus better b sides.

if a song is sung by a gg its allways better than if its sung by a bg so i have to disagree.

It really depends for me

I'm not good at suggesting songs alone to check out a because good song rec depends a lot on the taste of the person who asks for it but some of my fave albums by girl group's are T-ara the Absolute First Album, Wonder Girl's Reboot, f(x) Pink Tape and Red Light, Fiestar A delicate Sense, and Brown Eyed Girls the Sixth Sense and Miss A touch(yes some of these are minis but I went with albums in the general sense). In recent years I would say Clc's Black Dress mini, Twice Taste of Love,Gfriend's Walpurgis Night(my fave album from them at least) Lovelyz: A new trilogy Aespa's Savage and Dreamcatcher's Tree of Language and Dystopia: Road to Utopia were surprising treats(I believe Dreamcatcher's albums could be better still love the group but my standards for them are probably incredibly high due to their title tracks being exactly my sort of thing). That's I guess an album recommendation spam for now.

Personally I have higher expectations of and check gg bsides more often than bg bsides (excluding skz) but maybe that's because I enjoy only few bgs anyway

BGs B-sides tend to better than girl groups' at the end of the day because they more hardcore fangirls who will check out the whole album (because hormones & teen girl culture),

while girl groups have a LOT more normal people casual fans listeners and whole GP who love the girl group & check out the (typically catchy asf) main song & less hardcore fangirls (who typically like boys & will listen to every single song on the album & buy it & treasure it etc etc).

So the companies invest more time & effort (& probably money) into album production into boy group album b-sides than they do their girl groups, bc less people listen to the whole girl groups' albums.

At the end of the day, everything is due to females' power 😆 (fangirls purchasing power and/or girl groups' catchy title track supremacy & general group/musical appeal to the public)
