Is it possible for 4th gen groups to win a daesang anytime soon?

There is no way Aespa not gonna win song of the year with next level in at least one of the major shows.

We've had this discussion several times already.
Answer: Unless a group scores a hit song like aespa or AAA gives a 4th gen group a daesang because they attend, then they won't be winning any time soon.
NCT and SVT are only growing bigger, BTS is literally always growing, TWICE is growing internationally, and BP is showing their power through solos.
4th gen groups can't keep up physically or digitally in Korea.

The soonest is 2024 in my opinion. If bts do not release anything in 2023 then it will most likely between seventeen and nct. BP is a toss-up bc it depend on how yg promote them. They can come in and snatch or not. 4th Gen Gg have the best chance given what we know now. If they get major viral song + comparable physical sale as top 2-3 bg. Aespa seem likely but winning is dependent on timing as well. A 4th gen bg need to sell higher than seventeen & Nct with a decent gap like 30-40% higher AND a viral/digital smash songs.

4th gen groups will only win ROTY for the next 3~5 years. They will have the chance to win something if / when groups like BTS/TWICE (BTS specially) disbands (maybe).
And still today there are some groups of the 3rd generation that are reaching their peak now...
But as some people said, aespa can win some because they're already being recognized by the gp.
Little sad for the 4th generation because the 3rd are still strong and it seems like the 3rd will keep going for some years while the 4th will start struggling soon (too many groups debuting in a short period of time in a scenario where only a few can shine)

If Aespa won't win it then no one will lbr. BTS, SEVENTEEN, etc all do much better than 4th gen groups in physicals, IU and BTS do better than literally everyone in digitals too. Next Level is still stable in the top5 of Gaon and I don't see any 4th gen song coming close to it's level of insane longevity.

When was the last time a group scored a deasang beside BTS lol
Next level can’t win because IU has digitals and BTS physicals and votes on lock
How many times has IU won MAMA SOTY lol. Why are we all talking about IU like she has a chance to win. Award shows will give it to an idol group. At most IU will get gaon song of the month.

They got excluded because the group disbanded and there is high chance that Gaon won't nominate them, because, if no mistake, they already did that in the past.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure Aespa gonna win daesang, like NL did crazy in SK charts -
