Why do you think SM girl groups have such poor stage pressence?

I know that sometimes a dood from higher up would say something weird like "keep a blank face" or smth and they would have to comply but like I dunno for sure.

I differ, Irene's stage presence during Peek-a-boo gave me goosebumps. Without her the song is nothing. Also, RED FLAVOUR as a song is a full package with RV's stage presence included.

nugu groups do good too, for example Pixy i am not fan of their music but they have got good stage presence

Using extreme examples doesn't really do much justice to your argument, in fact they discredit it

SM groups like SNSD, RV and Aespa have shown great stage presence and charisma, they're just of a type and style that you don't like.

As for Mamamoo, other posters showed enough interest to create threads and discuss their song and comeback, ironically enough more so than hardcore stans as you. Better get up and in shape

it's hard to have impressive stage presence at young age, if i am not mistaken they are the youngest 4th gen gg along with TRI.BE and also they look even younger, tbh besides the ones who stands out such as Itzy or (G)-Idle etc everyone is indifferent to me.

They don't? FX maybe at times didn't look super into it (mainly Krystal and Sulli) but RV do and Aespa for now at least seem to be doing well.

Jumping around barely doing much actual choreography isn't the only way to have stage presence.

Tbh, I hate most of the SM girlgroups' choreographies and I think It affects the quality of their performances. They look messy and robotic. So indeed It seems they lack in stage presence.

But when they are good, I see the girls doing a great job, at least Red Velvet, which a follow closer and have a bigger catalogue to judge.

I personally love RBB's stages and I watched all the 3 weeks of promotions back in 2018.

I could swear you made a thread about this same topic like 2 weeks ago (the day Aespa released the first Next Level performance)
