I don't think is all about stats only sometimes streaming sometimes comes from fandoms it's the whole impact the songs had in Korea media and stuff

Spring Day is still charting and still loved. No 3rd gen song has its impact. To do that after chart reform is a testament to the love it gets.
-
or Spring Day
-
IMO, Spring Day, the only idol group song in this list.

Spring Day is still charting and still loved. No 3rd gen song has its impact.
cheer up is probably the song with more impact though (I would include DDDD, HYLT, dynamite) but I agree about spring day being a song that is liked by koreans.
but I was talking in general we should take in consideration if the song is popular with the general public and have a big influence with Korean media like if people talk about song or played in popular tv shows etc not only charts is the only criteria.
-
or Spring Day
Agreed

Here we go again
-
Probably spring day

Stop with all the nonsense. Its Spring day without a doubt.

No Baby Shark

Spring Day. No other 3rd gen idol group hit has similar stats as SD and it was the 4th biggest hit on Melon decade chart (Cheer Up was #16 to compare). Jaesuk mentioned how he loves Spring Day and Seho mentioned how it was his favorite song when BTS appeared on YQOTB.
IU, Ji Chang Wook, and so many other celebrities have covered, played, or mentioned the song this past year despite being released 4+ years ago (appeared on 2019 Gallup 2 years after release). THAT is impact with the public.
EDIT: Dynamite seems to be coming for its neck to be honest (charting performance + GP impact).

If that is the criteria then it’s definitely Dynamite as the biggest hit lol

spring day & cheer up

But what does fandom streaming have to do with this? Streaming numbers aren't an accurate representation of success anyway, only to a certain extent. The mere fact that Spring Day is still charting on Melon top 100 after 4 years, wasn't affected by the new chart reform(based off of ULs btw, not streaming) and outcharting some songs released recently should say enough.
I'm not even a hardcore ARMY but that song is arguably one of the biggest songs of this gen.
Anyway it's still pretty dumb to argue about national hits when most of us don't even live in Korea, we can only really determine 'impact' from what we see, surveys and Korean charting.

Oh hell no, you tried it though.
This graph is March of 2019 (over 2 years ago), and ranks the best-performing songs from Dec 20, 2009 to Mar 30, 2019.
Spring Day is 6th and is one of only 2 idol songs to make it to the top 13 listed here. And it was already above Love Scenario (7th).
To this day, it's STILL in the top 100 of Gaon Digital after more than 2 years, the only song of these 13 to do so.

And it ended up on Gallup survey 2019, nearly 3 years after release.

Any Ikon fan here? No? Love Scenario was everywhere when it’s came out. I’m sure they did win with it. Not as much of a hit then Spring Day but still.

as someone who witnessed all these songs coming out, I would say cheer up...
It was very huge.. charting is not the only thing which determines a national hit.. its the impact on the national population and media scene..
cheer up was everywhere, literally everywhere
twice did not even had a strong fandom so you know it was total gp recognition

by this metric fire must be bts’ biggest hit since it’s played ALL the time on variety shows, cooking shows, parties and is still being covered by idol groups...

SK: Spring day, love scenario, cheer up, DDDD, Dynamite, red flavor, Bboom bboom, Boy with luv, hylt
