IVE is now the best selling girl group in Hanteo history, first and only to surpass 8M sales

Crazy how a flopping disbanding declining group that has already peaked is doing such numbers. Note that IVE is also younger than many of the other top selling GGs

This is what happens when you stick to what you do and focus on creating good music, with fans that support you.

Haters should focus on their faves who might not even have such a long and sustainable career as IVE instead of worrying if IVE is ever going to chart or sell well maybe if they did focus on their faves there would actually be new music and content to enjoy

I'm glad that the girls are doing what they love with many more to come

Its crazy and they are not even Big4 group. Starship really blow the bank with this group

and with only 1 album last year, very impressive.

You know I don't mind this I would love success for both IVE and aespa. aespa's music in 2024 was great I would say their best in their entire career.

They are both some of the top active groups of their generation

I'm always impressed by Ive "longevity" as a no big4 group bc yes, for a gg to have such a strong and loyal fb is super impressive, let alone from a company that isn't the big4 in kpop.

I know people always come up with "Wonyoung, Yujin produce privilege" when almost 0 groups and even less idols from these programs get this much support after years of their careers and the only ones who are also thriving are from a big4.

I think Ive will become a group for history in kpop!! Congrats!!

People always use Produce privilege to downplay the group, when many other groups don't have that level of success even with Produce privilege

Hello? Wonyoung and Yujin worked their ass off in IZ*ONE for 2.5 years. Same for Sakura and Chaewon with LSFM. They didn't get the produce provilege. They EARNED THAT PRIVILEGE

Yep, the privilege in question being just for 0.01% of the trainees that went there.. different from big4 that even before debuting already have fb enough to sell a looooot and whose success rate are 90%...

They are queens for having such charisma to have millions of fans!! Aaaaand Ive selling this much is also thanks to the whole group!

Heck I kept my Nako profile pic from then until now and never ever changed it.

I admit I was looking forward to IVE because of Wonyoung and Yujin

But now my bias is Gaeul and Liz

I remember your crazy fangirl life as Izone stan kkkkk, but Izone sound is so different from Ive sound and even so they kept their success and Ive girls were the biggest add ever! They are all amazing, talented and cuties!

to be fair its not like starship is some nugu company nor was izone a nugu group. and besides wonyoung was the most popular izone member in korea and her group was the first post izone group to redebut so there was a lot of hype there. ive might not be a big 4 group but to make it seem like they had 0 advantages is just ridiculous. congrats to their success tho

Aespa's selling power is severely handicapped by chinese solo fandom boycotts. So i wont be surprised that for next few albums, IVE continue to outsell aespa and the gap gets bigger.

But again, like you said, it also depends on number of releases. Starship serisouly have some schedule issue with IVE last year. Hopes it get better this year. It seems that aespa have a better track records of releasing more albums and recently Winter said this year they will be busier than 2024.
